Awesome gym! I've been a member since late 2021, right after the move to the new location. I really enjoy this gym, laid back vibe (but still very challenging) and the coaches are knowledgeable and helpful. My fitness level has improved a ton over those 2+ years.
The coaches spend a lot of time designing new workouts to keep things fresh, typically a combination of weight training and metabolic conditioning. For me it's great, I show up each day and don't have to think about anything outside of making my way through the workout.
There's 7 or so classes daily and a few on the weekends, you sign in on an app for each class which also tracks your performance so you can keep an eye on your progression.

The community is truly the best and a fantastic way to meet folks if you’re new to the area as there are a ton of transplants at the gym and we’re always pumped to meet new people. The workouts work for me because it’s truly strength and conditioning and not HIIT types which I’m personally not a huge fan of. Also, I appreciate how inclusive the workouts are to fit everyone’s fitness journey and gives multiple options of modifications depending on what works best for you. Read moreI love Social Mechanics! I've been attending their classes 4-5 days a week on average and have seen great results in my strength, endurance, and body composition. I also really enjoy the relationships I've made at the gym. The class I go to (5:30am) is becoming a tight knit group. We encourage, challenge, and laugh with each other. It's great to just show up at the gym and have my workout pre-planned, and I'm confident that I'll get a thorough full-body workout and work on cardio as well. I also train for half marathons, and I've seen a HUGE improvement in my pace since joining SM even though I'm running much less throughout the week.
