I used to work for you guys in Lafayette, La and I loved my job until I had to make an abrupt move due to my health. I have been in recent contact with all of the managers there and it seems like they will not bring me back because of my disability. Now, my question is what will Dallas Headquarters do about this issue? I still want a job at Topgolf and my doctor has cleared me to come back to work as of yesterday she has cleared me to come back with different limitations. Topgolf did it once before with me and I am wondering if they can do it once again. I have got an attorney and he told me that it sounds like to him as well as myself that Topgolf Lafayette may had been trying to discriminate against me because of my disability and I don't want to file a lawsuit against y'all but if I have to do so then I will because I have all rights to do so. Now, I have an event coming up at the end of this month at Topgolf Lafayette and there is nothing holding me back from going back there because I have nothing else to lose. Topgolf was the only company that treated me like a person and not as another disabled person and who saw the best in me when no one else did and for Topgolf to treat me like this now because of my disability is just wrong! I love y'all and with Lafayette carried on my back for a year I will always love Lafayette. Either we will handle this as a team and get me back onboard with the company or I will be filing a lawsuit against the company for discrimination because I felt like that's why they don't want me back in Lafayette because of my disability. Just like how I said before I didn't want it to come down to this posting on Google but it had to made. As we all say "It's Always A Big Day At Topgolf" well guess what? It's going to be a "Big Day" for Topgolf's Corporate Office when they get back their guy from the Acadiana area. I love y'all and I do plan on hearing back from y'all...
Read moreVisited Top Golf National Harbor on Fri evening, 11/29/19 as a group of 4. Had a great time up until we had 15 minutes left on our bay and chose not to extend our time. Waitress stated we had to pay immediately. I politely asked if we could pay once our game time of 15 minutes had expired. She stated it was policy that it be done now because the bay had to be cleaned for the next group. This is bad business because I'm forfeiting some of my paid remaining time at a premium rate of 50 dollars per hour to stop and split up the bill with other members in my group. We felt very rushed to exit our bay and this put a negative damper on a fun evening up until that point. We also had to relocate to a common area to finish our two remaining beverages when there were plenty of bays available near us and it was not busy on this particular Friday evening. I apologized to the young lady that my disagreement was not with her and it was with this corporate policy, not facility policy as explained to me by her but corporate. I then spoke to a manager, Aaron, who also stated this was corporate policy. When I asked why we had to exit our bay to finish our beverages when it was not busy at all and multiple bays available near us he admitted that was his fault. He stated usually Friday evenings after 6:00 p.m. are a prime time and he failed to realize it was not busy this particular evening and he instructed waitress to follow normal protocol to clean/prep the bay for next party. I am a 4 handicap golfer who did enjoy my time here up until being rushed out of our bay and forfeiting time to pay a nearly 300 dollar bill on the spot that couldn't wait 15 minutes. I sincerely hope this complaint is looked at/discussed and a better business model is tested for...
Read moreWe were at the Virginia Beach location Friday night at 7:30 til 10. First off we were not greeted at the front door on where to go even tho there were 5 employees all standing around on their phones talking and joking. We stood in one line to be told to go to another line to get membership cards. Then we get a bay. We order drinks from the bar with the waitress she was not familiar with the menu at all that was obvious the mixed drinks were over iced mostly ice in all of them very little drink for 10 and 12 bucks a drink not got service. The beer was not cold it was served in a warm glass. The facility is not packed at all. We have 2 bays with 16 people total and 12 playing at $45 bucks an hour. Our computer 35 minutes into our game locks up we hit the help button. After 4 staff members come over they finally get it working now 20 mins has gone by out of our hour of playing time which we payed for. I say something that lost time and we get a sorry can't control the systems. Unexceptable service and comment from staff extremely rude ..I am a local and took family from out of town there for a good time and night out. Very sorry I wasted their time and my money. Oh and to top the night off. We seen sign said late night live music at 9:30 we even conformed the details with a staff member. And after an hour of waiting around in that area with other guest nobody ever came on stage. I walk down the hall to bar area and ask to be informed oh nope not tonight DJ called and cancelled. REALLY? Then go tell the people waiting That the venue has cancelled. Totally rediculous and very upsetting night thanks Top Golf for ruining ...
