My first visit since the reopening. Absolutely awesome remodel. Very open, clean and decorated beautifully. The hostess was warm and welcoming. The first server came to the table for the drink order and she never returned for over 5 minutes. The bus boy came to the table as he noticed that I had been waiting a while. He took my drink order and went to get someone. The bartender walked up to take the drink order about a minute after the bus boy. I told him water and when he brought it I asked what was the delay. He literally said, "We were busy so we had to clean the tables." I said no one was waiting to be seated... would you make a customer wait while you clean the tables? I explained that I asked the first server and she left and I watched her do a take out order, pass me up 3 times with no eye contact, and never brought my water. He said, "Well the tables had to be cleaned"...shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal. Because I love the food there I stayed and waited on my 2 friends to join. Great food overall. Tacos, enchiladas and rice and beans. The food will not dissapoint.

Still in search of the perfect enchilada. Alas, Casita's (the new iteration of Casa Rosa's) on Blackwell is not the place to find it. Queso w ground beef was so bland it could not compete to the great flvor of the tostadas. I had the Red Raider plate with beef enchiladas the chili con carne was the only thing that had any flavor. The taco, meat and cheese only came meat and taco shell only but only the taco shell had any flavor. Z's enchilada dinner, with one chicken, one cheese, under chili con queso, came with two chicken, queso, and a ton of jalapenos. Bruce's chili rellenos with veggies was the only plate with any spice at all. The cheesecake with praline sauce was served still frozen but hot sauce on top. We mused at what Chef Ramsey unfettered might say about the look of the dish. We looked around and found the average age of customers was at least 65, so we pondered whether this was the retirement home version of tex-mex meant not to upset old folks tummies. We probably won't return until the next iteration.

Very nice inside. Comfortable seating. Our server was Kenya she was super kind, quick and kept a smile on her face. Her service was amazing staff is very attentive. Kenya kept our glasses full, checked in to assure everything was good, which everything tasted delicious especially their chips and salsa! Yum! The beef enchilada was flavorful the taco had a crispy shell fresh ground beef as well as the tostada. All staff was supporting each other and helping where needed. I can assume they have great relationships within. If you want great Tex-mex I recommend this restaurant. My family and I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items.

Casita’s Mexican Restaurant is hands down one of the best Mexican dining experiences you’ll find! From the moment you walk in, the owners and staff make you feel like family with their warm hospitality and top-tier service. The food is absolutely phenomenal, especially the sizzling fajitas, which arrive at your table on a crackling hot skillet, sending up a cloud of fragrant steam that teases your taste buds before you even take a bite. The steak, chicken, and shrimp are all perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, bursting with bold, smoky flavors and complemented by sweet, slightly charred onions and crisp bell peppers. Pair them with warm, soft flour tortillas, creamy guacamole, and fresh salsa for an unforgettable bite. Beyond the fajitas, the menu offers a fantastic variety of options, from cheesy, melt-in-your-mouth enchiladas to golden, crispy chimichangas and the most flavorful, tender tamales. The queso and house-made salsa are must-tries, striking the perfect balance of spice and freshness. Every dish is crafted with care, and the attention to quality is evident in every bite. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or a lively dinner, Casita’s delivers an incredible dining experience that keeps you coming back for more. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food with unbeatable flavor and outstanding service, this is the...

I came here yesterday, and I’m disappointed in the service my family and I received.

We’ve been here a few times - good food good service.

However, yesterday not only did it take a while to get sat down, but it took forever to get our order taken.

When the server came he just took our appetizer order and didn’t let us continue to place our full order. He just walked off.

A few minutes later our appetizer arrives, but he still doesn’t let us place our order. He just asked if we wanted flour or corn tortillas for the queso flameado which is 10/10.

He NEVER came back with our corn tortillas. The waiter was going around all the other tables, except for ours despite our attempt to catch his attention. Finally, we finish our appetizer and he came to take our order, but at that point we were already annoyed that everyone else was getting his attention but us. We asked for the check and left.

Not to bring race into this, but my family and I felt discriminated. We were the only Hispanic family there, so all the white families seemed to be his priority. Ironic since the restaurant name is La Casita. I saw a review from 3 months ago that had a similar experience to ours.

I believe our waiters name was Jarrell - he had arm tattoos.

The WORST service we have received at any establishment. Paid $27 for drinks, the Appetizer and...
