Abernathy's — Attraction in Davenport

This place is cutting edge eclectic with broad ranging styles and tastes! The whole store gives off a personification of the invidual sort of niche. The salesperson deserves snaps for achieving that right blend of attentiveness for the size of this shop! (I'm Hispanic and, sadly, normally followed around as I shop. One time caught this chubby lil' Karen staring at me from behind a popcorn popper! Guess she didn't think I'd see her through the GLASS! Duh! 🤣🙄) But instead this kind and hilarious clerk made me feel like she wanted my business! My interest and waited for questions to help me along! She truly was everything a person would want to interact with! I digress. She checked on us and went back to working on what she needed to tend to. This place is so cool! I've passed it a million times heading to and from work and have always wanted to check it out, so today I finally did. Super friendly staff and a fabulous selection of cute, vintage clothing. Lots of cool accessories and trinkets, too.

Regular prices can be a bit high for my budget, but if I've gotten a particularly good paycheck it's worth a trip back to see what they've got. They do also have some awesome sales. Brought my brother here who was visiting from out of town. He noticed Abernathys logo likes the clean and simple design so he wanted to get a t-shirt. The person working was very nice and welcoming even gave my brother a sticker. And she was very informative about the store and all the services that they offer such as alterations or ordering items that were out of stock that we liked.
