If you are a musician or just someone who loves history and jazz, this little museum is a perfect stop. I was able to go through the entire thing within an hour and, even though I have a bachelor's degree in music, I still learned a lot. Free museum, although I did leave a donation because it's really a hidden gem. Absolutely recommend calling ahead to make sure someone is there, but otherwise great little bit of history to check out.

Amazing place for all jazz music. I had to see this place because I am staying a the Beiderbecke House. And Bixwas an amazing musician. A really cool museum with some awesome old instruments and records. A must see if you are in town.

Came here with my wife while visiting Davenport and spent a nice afternoon learning about all the ways Bix was intertwined and influential in the early jazz scene. The artifacts in the museum are well maintained and very interesting. I would say this is a great stop for anybody, not just those interested in jazz music or...
