Kobe Jo is back in the Quad Cities hoooooooo and this time we’re staying at the DoubleTree in downtown Davenport. We’re in a king suite with a partial river view and this building is one of the most unique hotel layouts I’ve ever seen. All the doors face inward toward the center of the building which felt a little strange at first but honestly I got used to it pretty quickly. The energy in here is very corporate men bags briefcases suits everywhere and then there’s me running around in a Wayfair sale outfit like I belong. Customer service was super great and I’m lowkey convinced they knew exactly who I was the second I walked in because that’s just the Kobe Jo effect. I’m so excited to be back in the Quad Cities. Have you stayed at this hotel before and what were your thoughts? #CerealCerdik

So I ended up staying at the DoubleTree in downtown Davenport, and let’s talk about the breakfast. It was a continental breakfast that technically wasn’t included with the room and was around $20, but for yours truly they gave it on the house. When I tell you this was not your average hotel breakfast, I mean it. There was a make-your-own omelette station, bacon, sausage, and just an overall more elevated experience compared to most hotel breakfasts I’ve had. This hotel definitely comes with a bit of a price tag, but being able to fully fuel up without even leaving the building was such a plus. You could even take it to go back to your room, so honestly if you got it the first day you could make it stretch. That said, there are also so many cute coffee shops nearby, so you’ve got plenty of options either way. #CerealCerdik
