Dishonest Staff and Double Charges — Be Careful at King Canary Brewery Watch your tabs and cards here — seriously. My wife and I opened a tab, ordered a few drinks, and sat down for food. When I went back to order another round, the bartender claimed my wife had closed our tab. That was a lie — she hadn’t touched it. I checked my bank account and saw two separate charges for one tab. When I confronted the bartender, I was told the tab was “accidentally closed” and that they’d refund the first charge and start a new one with our existing drinks. Another lie. The refund never happened, and we ended up being charged twice for the same visit. This isn’t just a simple mistake — it’s dishonest and unacceptable. I’ve never had to double-check my bill at a brewery before, but apparently, you have to here. This was our first time at the Davidson location but we may like this location more than Mooresville (not that there is a single thing wrong with Mooresville). My wife and I were having a kid free night for a date night and we had a such a wonderful time. All the staff were great and drinks were perfect, especially the mocktails for my wife as she is expecting our second child. Vicky was super attentive to us and we had such a great conversation and really connected with her. After we left and went to dinner and walked past the front entrance again head to our car, we looked through the windows to see if they were still busy and saw Vicky, she looked up and saw us and enthusiastically waved at us with a bright smile and we waved enthusiastically back. Very rememberable experience and will be back soon...

Food was delicious and the strawberry ale i chose was amazing! The staff was very nice, as well. Overall, the atmosphere was a little overwhelming when trying to maneuver and figure out where to go and what to do with it being my first time. I had come on a rainy day, so I am sure that didn't help. However, the space is very small for the amount of people that had come in all at once. As well as figuring out where to go for food and drinks made it seem chaotic. I am sure this may have been an off day for this company, but I probably wouldn't drive to Davidson from kannapolis again just to grab a quick dinner from this spot, unless I'm already...
