Unfortunately this used to be my favorite nail salon but not anymore. I was clear about what I ordered which wasn’t what I received. I scheduled an appointment for a dip French manicure and instead the nail tech gave me a dip base color with a hand drawn French tip. I expressed that this wasn’t what I ordered or expected and she mentioned that because my nails weren’t even that she couldn’t do the dip French tip. My nails were longer this time than they were the very first time I ordered this same service a year ago with a different technician. The French lines aren’t all uniform and underneath the nails feel thick and clunky. When I brought this up to have it filed underneath a little bit to make it “feel” more comfortable she told me she couldn’t because my nails were too short. Never again! This place lost a customer because I will not be returning. My pedicure was fine but the “dip French manicure”was not. My cuticles look crusty and old as of I had my nails done for over a week already.
Even after she told me to wash my hands there was no warm towel to place on my hands or lotion…I had to apply the lotion myself and she didn’t anything before she walked away. I didn’t even know we were done until I noticed that her station was cleaned and when I asked I was told that she was finished. Who does that?! Definitely not...
Read moreI recently went in for a pedicure, but the experience left a lot to be desired. The technician didn’t speak English, which is fine, but she instead made non-verbal cues for where to place my feet, which was frustrating. If I accidentally placed my foot incorrectly, she’d make comments in Mandarin to a coworker. Little did she know, I actually understand Mandarin & Cantonese quite well from my time studying abroad. Though she mostly spoke about her day being long, boring and tiresome there was one offhand remark about me asking for a clear coat as a man, which felt unnecessary.
What really got me, though, was that she skipped over key parts of the pedicure I came in for. My feet were only given a light leg sugar scrub without the pumice stone or foot file that’s usually standard. I even checked with the front desk, who confirmed that foot scrubbing should be part of the service. The owner’s response was that I needed an extra callus treatment to get exfoliation, which sounded like an excuse—my feet are well taken care of, and this level of service is typical in most salons without any additional charge.
To be fair, the spa itself was clean, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. It felt like the employee was simply cutting corners, and that’s...
Read moreI got a gel mani and regular pedi done by Vikki. She was very nice and friendly. Good customer service, clean sterile environment, and gorgeous salon. it was a very relaxing experience overall. She did an amazing job on the pedicure so I’ll give her that.
While she was doing my gel mani, she was rushing the curing process. I’ve been getting my nails done for years so I know that most nail artists cure the polish at least 3x for 60-90 seconds each time. She was not even waiting for the timer to run and she kept switching my hands so fast!!!!
My nails came out decent. It wasn’t the best nail job but not the worst. They were super thin - like she barely added any coats- and weren’t that shiny either.
Well, not even a couple of days later and I noticed chipping. Then 6 days later, all my nails are chipped. Today, we are at 7 days later and my nails are now fully peeling and coming off. See photos. It’s funny because she even said that my nails weren’t going to last because my hands were clammy but I’ve been getting my nails done for years and they usually last 2-3 weeks depending on...
