Probably the worst customer experience of my life witnessing the worst Manager with the worst passive aggressive attitude towards an employee ever.
As I am a member for a couple of years now I shop enough at HF's across the country to have visited a number of locations. The manager at this store was very loud, speaking on a radio to a cashier doing a return in the worst condescending way I have ever heard. I could hear her from 5 aisles away and she was literally on the same side of the store about 25 feet from the cashier. She was preoccupied helping a male employee stock an endcap.
She was asking the cashier in way paraphrasing here, "what do you think your training was for and what do we do with RA numbers?" The tone and attitude was so bad I almost dropped what I had and left. I thought about speaking up but I do not want to deal with such a Karen and will just opt to never shop this store again and probably will not renew my membership if this is the type of person that qualifies for management.
As I made my way to the front of the store I was the fourth in line with one cashier ringing out customers and the other struggling with a return while the manager helped the poor lost guy stock the endcap. I know he was lost because I asked him about velcro cord ties and he had no idea what I was talking about despite there being 3 different versions of them on the endcap he was stocking. I was attempting to be polite so that he might move over so that I could obtain a set. He was a bit clueless and the manager seemed preoccupied with this rather than the cashiers who had one with the line of customers and the other struggling with a return.
Sorry, I didn't catch the names, but I seriously didn't want to get too close to the raving and ranting going on. If you are a corporate monitor then you can look up who was working today around 1pm to 2pm.
I would rather order from Amazon and wait a day or two to get a similar item. It really is not worth interacting with people that berate employees.

Read moreI don’t usually write reviews but this experience deserves one. Terrible customer service and terrible management, along with employees. I came in to buy a safe and ended up walking out without it. I’m standing in line and a customer tells me that this line might be a return only line, just to be sure, I go to ask an employee (not the cashier) if it’s a return line, then the cashier (Michelle) thinks it’s her place to talk and gives me the most disgusting attitude letting me know that it isn’t the return line and I shouldn’t listen to dumb customers, keep in mind the customer was right INFRONT of her. After the yelling and attitude, she had a problem with her register, so she sends her customer to the next register and tells the customer in the next line to come cut right to the front, and lemme tell u, they had a truckload of items. I then ask for an employee to help me bring out a 500 pound safe to my car, and lemme tell you, this Michelle girl decides it’s her place to talk AGAIN, giving me the same attitude she gave every other customer in line. Never shopping here ever again, till Michelle deals with the consequences, used to shop here and management was great, guess things...

Today the first time I went to return an item I bought 7 days ago it was an open box item , cashier answer was you can not return it because the policy to return any thing 5 days only so l told her my day off is Sunday only and I never heard about this policy so she call a manger. Manger came 5 minutes later look the receipt and she said 2 days off we will not return it in a very rude way,I tried to explain to her that Sunday is my only day off she said this your problem not mine , she said if you don't like go shop some where else.
