I went to Well Kneaded recently, and unfortunately I was very disappointed. When I booked the appointment over the phone, I informed the lady I spoke with of why I needed a deep tissue massage, what physical activities I do, etc.; she said she would makes notes of these things for the massage therapist. I also repeated this information on the customer intake form that they ask you to complete before the massage. This form had a sections for customers to list their likes and dislikes when receiving a massage. I specifically noted that I dislike when a masseur has cold hands.
When I arrived for the massage, the masseur asked me many of the same same questions I had already answered on the customer intake form. This of course took time away from the massage itself, and made it feel as though I wasted my time filling out the form. Furthermore, his hands were very cold throughout the massage. He apologized for the coldness, but apologies did not fix the problem. Regardless of the fact that I specifically noted my dislike of cold hands, you would think a professional massage therapist would know that people just don't like cold hands during a massage. He also ended the massage about three minutes early; this is in addition to the two minutes he spent asking questions I had already answered, so in total I feel that I did not get five of the sixty minutes I paid for. This was all the more frustrating because he did not touch my hands or feet at all.
Probably the most frustrating thing about this is that I feel worse now than I did before having the massage. I did ask the therapist to use very firm pressure, as I lift weights and need a heavier touch. However, the morning after the massage, my lower back hurt in a way it did not previously, and that has never happened before when I have gotten massages. That is my main reason for writing this review.
The massage itself was a 1/5. However, I called Well Kneaded the day after the massage, and the manager did seem interested in rectifying the situation, so I am giving a...
Read moreIn Well-Kneaded, I have found a massage studio that I know I will use for a long time to come. I have a long history of back issues (I have scoliosis and have to spend most of my day hunched over a desk). I came to Well-Kneaded after going without a massage for nearly half a year (a long time for me). Grace, my massage therapist, was amazing. She could tell where I was hurting just by taking one look at me, fully dressed! She knew exactly what to do to help get rid of the pain and is clearly very knowledgeable about her craft. She used a great combo of deep tissue massage and stretching, and it really did the trick. Grace allows you to relax quietly during the massage if that’s what you’d like to do, but if you’d rather talk, she is very friendly, funny, and engaging. I left feeling so relaxed and happy, and I will most...

Before my session, I received a few texts to sign my disclosure form (encrypted) & to confirm my upcoming appointment. I actually like the proactive measure of seeking the necessary information upfront so it doesn't take away from the timed service. Candice was expedient in that manner while asking my preferences before we got started to ensure the proper skincare would be beneficial for me.
I can't stop "glowing" about my face, the process, immediate results & overall experience. Her keen mixology of products lightened up my Melsama instantaneously & my family has noticed as well which makes me feel even better.
I definitely suggest Well Kneaded for any facial needs. The entire refreshing, therapeutic experience in addition to the atmosphere...
