Avoid and don't waste your time. Saw retro games and was immediately drawn in, walked in and asked about a binder of Pokemon cards and was told they weren't for sale and the ones in the case were. Okay, sure. Asked about the games and consoles wrapping around the ceiling to see if they were for sale, was rudely told, "If they were for sale they wouldn't be there, they'd already be sold. Nothing up there is for sale. " Again, okay, didn't have to say it like that but whatever. Walking around I realized that most of the games had NO business being marked for what they were asking, like well above eBay prices, and mind you these are all used games. Read moreThey were unlike any game store I've ever been to! They had old consoles and old games for verg affordable prices.... and by old I mean they had stuff from like the 80s there! And newer stuff too. Although I'm not old enough to remeber the Atari or Sega systems you get the vibe of sheer nostalgia stepping into the magical world of this store like a foot step into history they have just about anything you could think of in terms of the generations of gaming. I got my ps3 from here and it's one if the most wonderful things I've bough from there. They are not competitive like gamestop or other game stores and the customer service is superb. I didnt regret not a single penny of the 200$ I spent there. I hope to see this place grow and perhaps open up a few...
Read moreI've been to this store 5 or so times, all of them have been wonderful experiences which I have no negative thoughts or gripes with. The variety of games is vast, from Atari to Switch you can find any kind of game. There are also peripherals, TCG cards, consoles, movies, controllers, almost anything. The owner has an actual appreciation for video games and is also a very nice and sociable person. He doesn't try to swindle you into making an unwise decision, instead helping you. Times are very much trying when I'm writing this, it's very difficult to stay afloat for a smaller store. Any visit, trade, purchase, or review would help. Please support the people at CGX, they really do deserve it for how great this...
