Oriental Express — Restaurant in Denton

Been to this place like maybe 10 times. Food is msg filled so it's tasteful. Customer service is like a 1 out of 5. You never get everything you order unless you stay there so you can correct them. They tell you on the phone after you leave to come back and tell them what they didn't give you, and they embarrass and harrasse you about the mistake they made. 7 out of 10 times I've been there I got someone else order. So you better check bc they won't remember they promised to take care of you on your next visit. Gave me all chicken products and I ordered all shrimp . Never again, they just walked away from the counter left me standing there, got on the phone and called the owner who threatened to deduct the money from the workers check if they took care of my $8.00 meal, speaking to them in Spanish like I dont speak Spanish. This place is gone down considerably. They treat poeple with no respect at all. Should be closed down. I normally don't leave bad reviews but the reason for my 1 Star is because the food was terrible. We used to buy from here very often and they used to give out the food in these plastic containers and they would serve a lot of food. I am not sure if the owner changed but I was very disappointed. Now, they serve the food on these white foam plates that will give you the impression of serving more food.

When I got home and opened the plate I felt I was robbed. I also had asked for no spicy and still got spicy food. I ordered Orange Chicken (no spicy)- got 4 pieces of chicken and a bunch of rice and was spicy, Mongolian Beef (no spicy)- the beef was hard and chewy, never saw the beef maybe like 4 pieces and covered with a bunch of onions, Mixed Fried rice- was the most decent but no flavor and mushy. The quality of everything I ordered seemed to be off and did not taste like usual it was bland and did not have any flavor.

This place was TERRIBLE! And completely wrong! I literally WALKED to the restaurant (which is apx. 10 minutes from my house). I AM 8 Months PREGNANT! But I really wanted this food. I got there and was having trouble with my CC, which eventually went thru. Not to lie, the guy at the front counter (says name is Daniel) was real cool. However the WiFi was down on their card machine, but let’s talk about the food….. TERRIBLE!!! I ordered General Tso and fried rice. And crab rangoons! It was ALLLLLL truly terrible! The rangoons were rubbery, the chicken tasted as if it was fried in old grease and sat all day. As did the rice. It was slightly overcooked, so mushy But Hard! I just started crying because I can not BELIEVE!! I Walked, so I decided to call. Daniel (front desk) said call back in the morning to talk to manager!
