I am giving 2 stars for our lunch today and that is generous. One star is for the food and one is for the manager. I came with my two young daughters to celebrate her first day of kindergarten. After waiting in the mix of people waiting to place to go orders, to be sat and to pick up orders we finally got a table. I had to ask for a rag to clean it off because it was dirty and the bench covered in food-she obliged and let me clean. After a long wait we were greeted by an unenthusiastic waiter who asked what we want to drink. I ordered our food and drink without problem. We watched our milkshake go up on the bar and sit there for 5 minutes or more until the manager overheard us saying we hoped it was ours. She delivered it. Then we watched our food sit on the bar and not get delivered until a different waitress delivered it. She asked if we needed anything else and I told her we were still waiting on our normal drinks (lemonades diet cokes etc). She said she was sure it was coming shortly. After finishing 3/4 of our meal I caught the manager again and asked her to provide our drinks. I had to get up to get my own straw and also to find a ketchup bottle that actually had ketchup in it. We finished our food and drinks and sat with empty cups until finally our waiter came and said he could bring up the check if we want. I asked for a Diet Coke to go, a to go box and asked if the kids meal still comes with ice cream. He said yes and rang me up and brought the drink and box. He said bye and I asked again about icecream: he said it would be out. After 5 more minutes of my young girls patiently waiting the manager came back and said they found things in the chocolate and need to remake chocolate so if I want plain ice cream we could have it now. At the disappointment of my daughter we got ice cream with no chocolate in a Togo cup and I told the manager what a terrible experience it was. She offered to adjust our bill which was one of the only redeeming parts of the meal. Without her help we would have had zero service. The food was made in a timely matter (although not delivered) and we enjoyed it. I saw two tables ask if they had a server and 2 tables get up to ask for checks. They seemed extremely short staffed and didn’t seem to acknowledge that the entire restaurant was getting poor service. So disappointing for a special occasion and the location and restaurant have so much potential. It isn’t anything without reasonable service though. Maybe consider switching to...
Read moreI came to this location last night with high hopes and left extremely disappointed with the service we received and the quality of the food. Our server Daniel R. was arrogant and pompous the entire time. He clearly forget our drinks, we waited 15 minutes for beers, and did not adequately check in. I watched as he stood in the corner talking with 3 other male staff when I kept making visual contact to let him know there was an issue. He ignored this and I ultimately had to ask the host to grab him. We had ordered the Truffle Fries and they all came out burnt, you could not even see nor taste the Parmesan cheese because they were so burnt. He took them away and a few minutes later brought another basket which was better but ultimately still burnt. When we received our order, by another server, my burger was burned and disgusting. I waited for Daniel to check in but never did so I decided to eat the half of the burger that was not burnt (I have a picture of the burger I ordered). I showed him and again he was arrogant and pompous. He was extremely degrading and called into question my actions, which he had no business doing. Instead of doing the right thing, taking off at the minimum the burnt fries he charged us for everything. It is truly embarrassing that as a server he every thought delivering food of that quality was acceptable, but to furthermore disrespect and insult customers in atrocious. I cannot believe that this is the type of experience that this restaurant believes paying...
Read moreI have been to Park Burger many times in the past years. We have been traveling for a few years and upon our return remembered how much we loved Park Burger. As the weather was warm we were seated at a sidewalk table, very nice. The wait staff promptly greeted us and offered beverages, so far so good. Just like we remembered it. My guest and I ordered a basket of truffle fries to share and a hamburger each. We did make the mistake of adding a stale gluten free bun for an additional 3 dollars each. The food was astonishing bad, the truffle fries were soaked in ?? truffle oil I suppose with no hint of truffle taste or truffle bits, salty with an over abundance or dri cheese. The veggies with the burger were good and fresh, however the burger left much to be desired. Think of a lump of poor quality meat you might turn I to a burger on your kitchen range, over cook, it dry it out, cool it off and serve it. We both agreed it was by far the worse meal of the week. I will say for whatever reason the prices were low, obviously much lower than necessary to serve a quality burger. My burger selections have changed through the years and without touching upon the fine steakhouse burgers around town I would rate them as follows; Five Guys, Smash Burger, and a distant 3rd In and Out, Park Burger no longer even makes the list. Save your money, drive further but whatever you do avoid...
