Came here with my mom for gel manicures and deluxe pedicures. Tell me Ali had my mom sitting with her feet in the water for so long her water got cold and she had to ask for more hot water? But she enjoyed her foot massage which was nice. Her manicure came out really pretty and Ali did a really nice job on her nails. The topcoat on my mom's pedicure wasn't applied until part way through her manicure, and even then, a matte tc was used. The man in the red and black shirt was actually kind of rude and said 'your nails are fine'. Like, sir? Excuse me? Did you do my mom's toes? Were you part of this conversation? No. Moving on.
My pedicure was okay if a bit rushed. The girl who did my toes was thorough and did a good job on the polish application. But it wasn't relaxing. The whole time I was getting my nails done, it felt like my stylist had better and more important things to do and was rushing to get to them. Not okay. My gel manicure was rushed as well. She wasn't going to shape my nails if I didn't say anything. There was still gel polish on my nails and she didn't even completely remove it before starting the manicure. You can blame it on a time crunch, but if they were so short on time, why not wrap my nails while I was getting my pedicure so that she could properly do my pedicure? I got a sheer pink color and you can clearly see where the old polish wasnt completely removed. It is not my job nor responsibility to tell 'professionals' how to do their job. They need certificates and licenses to be able to operate in a certain capacity and I am NOT the one that should be telling them how to do the most basic functions of their job. I'm leaving here with my nails looking a week old. But I'm not trying to be here longer than I need to
There was also a toddler in the salon- which is not an issue. I'm fine with kids and find them overall pleasant to be around. But during my pedicure he started hugging on my nail tech WHILE SHE WAS WORKING. She didn't do anything to try and keep him away, his mom/grandma/ the person watching him didn't do anything. Is the baby part owner? Is he keeping the lights on? Because ikyfl.
And before the owners respond: this is YOUR JOB. People are giving you their money because they want to have a nice time relaxing and getting their nails done. We don't go to the salon to be treated like afterthoughts. I didn't even get the nails I truly wanted because this experience was so bad. I'm not complaining about the price because experience and talent cost money. I won't be coming here again. I won't be recommending this to anyone. Keep muttering under your breaths and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIcon Nails is my go-to nail salon, and this review is long overdue!
Iāve been coming here for a few years now and have brought countless friends and family members, all of whom have had great experiences. From my boyfriendās first-ever manicure and pedicure to my 79-year-old great-grandmotherās visit, the team at Icon Nails has always delivered good service.
Over the years, Iāve worked with about 10 different employees and can confidently say theyāre all great at what they do. Two standouts for me are Jack, who always brings creativity and always knows the vibe Iām going for, and Danny, who is incredibly patient and truly understands the vision I bring in. I can be a little indecisive at times, and picky when it comes to how my french tips are done but no one ever makes me feel rushed and always offer professional input that leaves me confident in my choices.
The consistency of their work is great, and Iāve uploaded photos from over the years to show how reliable they are. Whether itās for a manicure or pedicure (what I like to call āpaws and clawsā), I know Iām in good hands. My typical visit costs me around $120ā$150 with tip, and I genuinely feel itās worth every penny.
I prefer to visit early in the mornings during the week to avoid any busyness and to enjoy the calm environment without feeling rushed. Weekends, as expected, can get pretty busy, so I plan my visits accordingly for the best experience.
For me, nail maintenance is nonnegotiable, and Iām so glad I can count on Icon Nails to keep me looking and feeling my best....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATED review 5 stars 4/14/25: I called the salon and expressed to them that I was disappointed with my set and to see if thereās anything they could do about it. They told me to come in, I did, and was seated with a lovely gal name Annie. I canāt tell you how grateful I am to have Annie redo my nails to perfection. She is incredibly talented, detailed oriented and kind. I thank the salon for the great customer service that was provided and how kind they treated me when I came in for the redo. This is exactly how a business should be run! I will be back and will completely recommend this salon to my friends and family! (The first two pics was done by the first tech and I was unhappy with the results, third pic is redone by Annie!)
2 stars 04/12/25 I went in for a regular pedicure and full set. The pedicure was relaxing and my tech did an amazing job.. however Iām really disappointed with my full set. The work was sloppy and not what I envisioned it being. The full set was $50 (which was reasonable), whatās annoying to me was that I was charged for adding both gel ($15) and a French tip ($15) to my set. Doesnāt make sense to pay for both add ons when French tips already come in gel. Iāve gotten the same service from other salons and they only charges for the French. I wouldnāt have to complain if it was perfect and exactly what I asked for⦠but itās not; itās sloppy, thick and not worth...
