UPDATE: After Hopdoddy responded to my review and I responded via email as requested on April 5th I have heard nothing and I am writing this on April 16th. Seems that Hopdoddy wanted to reply "to look good" but never intended to actually do anything. So my local experience seems to be a reflection of how corporate functions. Wow.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Not all that, we went in, really didn't know where to order, not one of the staff volunteered any info and finally I walked up to the counter, I did see a cash register so figured that I was in the right place. I looked over at the group of employees that were yapping and ignoring the customers asking "where do you order in this place", I was told that was where you ordered but that still didn't get any of the group to actually engage. Finally my staring prompted one of the group to leave what was obviously a far more important conversation than any customer and how dare I bother them at this time. I ordered and knew my table number as if I didn't it was clear that I would have been chastised for that as well. Okay, moving on, 50 bucks for two burgers, two fries and two fountain drinks. We acquired our condiments and drinks then waited patiently for the food to be delivered to the table. It was brought by two girls that hardly gave us the honor of a grunt upon delivery. Burgers were small for the huge price tag, the fries were tasty and plentiful but nothing was awesome. We didn't feel bad about not knowing the ordering protocol as some other people that came in and we started chatting when they said "do you order somewhere?" We explained what we found out and made sure they knew their table number as well. We were going to drop our trash in the garbage but that didn't seem to be an option. I managed to ask one of the employees as they were going by our table avoiding eye contact and moving at a high rate of speed. I was told that they would take care of that but she didn't actually stop, just keep moving. So I am sorry that we disturbed the crew wanting to place an order and that they seemed to work harder at avoiding their customers than making this any kind of experience other than one that I would like to not repeat in the future. Great...
Read moreWhat can I say about Hopdoddy? Hmmm hmmmm delicious. So the first time we did not have a good experience and I did share my thoughts on that but since we loved loved loved the fries and the drinks and the shakes we gave it another try and this time we loved everything. The fries is addictive i must say and the truffle fries is a must try ( best in town) the first time I ordered the sweet potato hot honey and sage fries and my husband said yuck sweet fries? And he almost finished the whole thing 😅 all of the fries they offer are amazing. To me the burgers are a bit small for the price but they are packed with flavor. My personal favorite is the magic shroom burger. One other thing that I love is monthly specials that changes every month so every month you can try a new burger or chicken sandwich. So over all this place is a must try for sureeeeeeee. You will enjoy your time and the food.
Some of our favorites are: Magic Shroom burger El Diablo burger Buffalo bill with beef patty ( we dont like bison) Bacon jam burger was amazing Nashville hot chicken sandwich All the fries they have on the menu which makes it so hard to choose only 2 or something 3. Our kids favorite shake is nutella chocolate pretzel shake And the margaritas are amazing and strongggggg

Read moreNice mid to up scale burger and beer joint. They have a bar, so I'm guessing they also sell liquor as well, but I didn't see any wine glasses.
I got the Classic with cheddar and bacon (Im basic af). It was great, but I should have asked for well done since I don't partake in less than that usually. Still, it was very good and the other ingredients like lettuce, onions and tomato seemed fresh. I really liked the bun and it was toasted perfectly.
I also got the Parmesean and Truffle Brussel sprouts. They were just the leaves, and they cooked them very crispy. I liked it a lot, but next time, I'd ask for about half of the truffle oil. I felt like they were a little too oily for me personally. Still very good though and great to share!
The guy who took the order gave great service and even came to pick up my meal when I was done and still sitting at the table.
I like the decor, kind of rustic, but it is the trendy way we all like. The music was not too loud. Which is always nice.
There is a free parking garage above/behind the CVS that is next door, so that's nice because finding street parking is the worst.
Overall, I'm very happy with the experience and would come here again if I was looking for...
