Amore Pizza is a pretty cool place. Very unassuming yet pleasantly surprising, friendly staff.
However, I couldn’t get over the fact that there was just nothing mind blowing about this place. The pizza was on par, but the toppings felt super average. Nothing really popped out to me. The crust wasn’t anything special.
What was super awesome was the calzone. I was shocked to see how big it was. Ironically, while I wasn’t impressed by what’s in the business name, I was amazed by the calzone. But there was just nothing on the inside that screamed out to me. The helping of cheese wasn’t super generous, and a lot of the filling felt and tasted “store bought.”

Read moreMy partner and I were pleased to find this place! 😀 We once ate at the Amore food truck outside of the "View House" of down town Denver and as the original east coasters that we are we be very critical pizza 🍕 eaters. YES, this place is good! My partner is allergic to onion and garlic and they were able to cater to your needs deliciously! I, sadly can't eat cheese anymore 😢but they made me a tasty chicken and bacon veggie pie with no dairy and it's great! Yum. The owner is charming and nice! Definitely hit this place up if you're jones'n for a slice! PS: the cheese cake and canolies are peer reviewed...
Read moreCan anyone make a super fire pie in Denver? The answer is not really. This place is alright tho. Slice special is good. But honestly for the price of regular pizza not that great. Solid but nothing special. They completely messed up a pizza for us and then remade it when we called back. So that was nice. Although, it took the second one almost an hour instead of "20 minutes". That's not cool!! Overall crappy experience for pizza that's not super great anyway. Maybe I'm just a pizza snob that lived in Chicago for 20 years but damn. There's a gaping hole in the pizza market here for anyone that wants to...
