Wow, one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a venue AND shameful customer service following it.
We went to see Eckhart Tolle in March. Mr. Tolle was amazing, but unfortunately we missed the first 15 minutes of his talk. We arrived at 6:25 and expected to have time to settle in — but instead were stuck in a massive line down the block for over 30 minutes. I've attended hundreds of large events, and this was by far the worst entry experience I've ever had. If there was an unusual delay or security issue, the talk should’ve been postponed to allow everyone inside.
On top of that, the talk itself was marred by constant high-pitched mic feedback and crackling whenever Mr. Tolle moved. It was distracting and frustrating — and apparently there was no sound tech on hand to fix it, which I would think would be stadar. Thank goodness for our Tolle inspired skills of mindfulness and peace. 😅
The next day I received one of those automated emails asking about my experience so I shared all this. Surprisingly, a real human (Greg), contacted me the next day to follow up. However, his email was super unprofessional: no apology, somewhat cold language and basically referred to us as "latecomers" (which I don't think is fair when we arrived 35 minutes before the show). He did offer us two free tickets to make up for our experience. But it's a moot point since he never again responded to my emails asking how to proceed with that! And I even called the theater's main number AND his direct line, and no one ever returned my call. For the record, I was always calm, kind and respectful. I mean...why tell me you're going to give us tickets and THEN blow me off? I don't get it.
If you've made it this far, you've got the whole story now and all I can say is: steer clear of the...
Read moreI'm a truck driver and I just delivered there some audio equipment down under the underground parking to the CEOs of this company that runs stuff. Your 4 Wheeler cars should not be parked down there because it's unsafe and there's no room for our semis to turn in there and get parked properly. And it is a safety issue as well as all that equipment. That's parked on the side at 4 cliffs and other stuff. That shouldn't be in there because we cannot make the proper turns to park. Our semis, so please address this issue. Because it is very important for you to get your equipment. For your show. S correctly, if you don't agree, then I guess you want to address this problem managers and seals. Or someone show this to your management so they can remove all 4 Wheeler cars from the underground parking. I do not belong there. They are in the way of semi drivers and it is not fair for us to come. Have to find you guys to move your vehicles when they should be parked above ground parking, not in places where they shouldn't be in our way. And then so a third late getting unloaded.Whose fault is it?I believe it is the fault of those 4 Wheeler cars and people that choose to park down there that want to just walk to the cars and not walk from above ground parking socios and managers.Look at this this is not good for your semi drivers because it makes your shows...
Read moreI went here once and it was the most logistically challenging and poorly designed venue I have ever been to. I’m not one of those whiny people who leaves one star reviews all the time and complains about everything but I really thought I needed to warn people about this place. The parking garage is some kind of sick psychological experiment. You enter the garage and go up an impossibly small claustrophobic, coiled ramp for six or seven stories where your parking sensors are beeping at you the whole time that you’re almost going to hit the wall. You exit onto a single level with a single lane, get stuck in a traffic jam and then are funneled down another ramp and shot back out in the street because there are no spaces. There are scattered small parking garages nearby that are tough to find and expensive. Even if you do happen to park here the lines to exit the parking garage after an event are maddening from what I’ve been told. The venue makes everybody go in through two double doors and there is a massive multi-hundred yard line outside. There are also inadequate bathrooms and concessions with long lines for everything. I honestly can’t think of any comedian or speaker that I would want to see bad enough to go through the massive hassle and aggravation of attending this...
