The Monkey Bar — Restaurant in Denver

My friends and I decided to check out this bar because we had heard good things about the games they had to offer. The drinks were well priced and they did have a lot to offer in terms of games. However, the service switched that for us and we decided to leave shortly after arriving. We had no alcohol in our system upon arrival and had to use the restroom. The first bathroom walking in was obviously very dirty and unkept. A dirty mop bucket full of brown water was propping the door open to the one stall restroom - a universal sign that it is not available for use. The other restroom however was open and we didn't fully realize that the single stall bathrooms were not unisex, which honestly shouldn't be an issue considering it is single stall. I went in to see that the door had wood chipped out and was not able to be closed or locked and went out to ask my friend to watch the door, only to find the bartender standing outside the door, angry, and verbally disrespectful. I later found out he mentioned to my friends that it was the men's restroom and that they don't allow it to lock, don't keep toilet paper in there, nor a toilet seat to specifically prevent women from using it. Not only that, but had I been using the restroom, my friends told me he was ready to walk into the restroom violating my privacy to get me out. Maybe if your restrooms were cleaner for your patrons, we wouldn't have had that issue and maybe if your service was better you'd be getting a better review. Highly disappointed in arguably the most important part of running a business.

Went in for a few drinks and a fun time with the games. Asked bartender for change, searched a song up, played the song, and BOOM some Gorlock The Destroyer looking geriatric patient turns around and yells at me cor playing music while they're watching sports. Who wouldve thought, were not allowed to play music in a dive bar? Listen grandma, if you wanna watch the price is right you do that at home not a place where everyone is trying to have a good time. Weak selection of beer with a few select senior, returning customers that have nothing better to do but shoo away newcomers so they can keep their hiding spot on the weekdays away from their families. Whats worse is you let this lady at the bar heckle me when there was no note on the machine saying not to play music. Its a bar dude - expect people are gonna play music. Or at least dont wait till we waste money on a song to...

I was standing at the bar after the avs game, and two dogs were behind me. The dogs started to fight, one of them missed, and bit the back of my leg, breaking skin my skin and causing me to bleed. I immediately told the bouncer and went home. My boyfriend stayed behind to get the owners information, and the owner was extremely rude and the bouncers didn’t even kick out the dog or the owner. I was forced to leave because I was hurt and didn’t feel safe. I don’t even know why two dogs were inside the bar at 11pm to begin with, but also terrible on monkey bar for not keeping their customers safe or kicking out a...
