I visited five dispensaries in a recent trip to Denver, and this was definitely the most disappointing. The recreational strains they had were good, especially the Lemonhead, but their customer service was terrible. I walked in and nobody came to greet me in the (empty) waiting room for what felt like a while. They let me in, and there were three or four employees and a few other people standing around in the middle of the main room next to the display cases, which made it difficult to see what they had for sale because nobody wanted to move out of the way. I asked them politely if I could get through to see what they had and several people gave me really annoyed looks before moving a few inches away. There were no other customers besides me.
I stood at the recreational display case for several minutes, looking around expectantly and trying to make eye contact with an employee, and nobody came to to help me until finally a younger employee went behind the counter and quickly measured out what I wanted, took my money, and then immediately rejoined the group of employees talking about their own personal grow houses. Nobody ever even bothered to say hello to me, or say thank you for the two eighths purchase I made. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time, and frankly, like I was bothering them by even being there. Their strains were good, but I'm never coming back to this dispensary just because they were so incredibly rude to me (in the afternoon on a weekday!), while all of the other nearby dispensaries had strains that were just as good and treated me with courtesy and respect. Honestly I'd rather buy from a street dealer because at least they would look...
Read moreI just purchased what was advertised as 1 oz of Passion Orange Guava flower. What I received was 1 oz of Passion Orange Guava shake, which was not at all mentioned anywhere during the online ordering process.
I tried calling the location in question and was essentially laughed at for what was "probably my mistake", but I have screenshots of the ordering process, and can prove my end of the story.
It's very frustrating that customer service could be so lacking, especially at a dispensary that apparently has won so many awards in the past. I drove 40 minutes to this dispensary due to its reputation, and was essentially just told "too bad" by its employees that I just tipped well for my purchase that I now HEAVILY regret.
I worked in this industry for over 4 years, so I try my best to support and promote dispensaries that are doing things well. This is the only negative review I've ever written, and I really wish it weren't the case.
Long story short, learn from my "mistake", and check anything ordered online, in-store, before...

High Level Health (HLH) did a bait and switch "customer appreciation" deal for 4/20. Spend $100, get a $100 gift card. Employees didn't say that the deal was only good for A WEEK. When confronted about being ripped off $200, instead of trying to resolve the issue, the budtender gaslighted me and said there must be something else wrong. Yeah, I'm unemployed and just got ripped off $200 as a sign of HLH's customer appreciation. I wrote an email to corporate at the beginning of May, but they never responded.
Since the start of the Pandemic, the flower quality has gone down -stems and seeds, the staff is a revolving door - where no one knows your name, and corporate ignores customer issues - that they created with a bait and switch promotion.
Dispensaries are a dime a dozen in Denver, and the steps that HLH has taken over the years resulted in them loosing a long time customer....
