Avalon Flooring - Deptford, NJ — Attraction in Deptford Township

The worst company to have ever dealt with. We spent over 14k on a porcelain floor to be installed as well as 12k on marble backsplash. Backsplash was damaged beyond repair due to installer rushing to get it down on 1 day. Stayed until 9:30 pm. Marble was severely hazed due to incorrect cleaning by installer rushing as well as uneven and sloppy grout work. Had to be ripped out and redone. As for the floor it was installed incorrectly. We had hired 2 independent professional contractors/inspectors that wrote letters of findings that the floor was installed wrong. The tiles move when we walk on them they are uneven. Avalon came in 4 x to dig up the entire floor re-grout it. Even after the findings that the tile was installed incorrectly Avalon still wanted to keep coming back and repairing it the same way despite the fact that is was installed incorrectly. They refused to return our money after we cooperated with their lies of fixing it. They promised the option of refunding and then later stated that was not an option. This went for over a year. Sadly we are stuck with this debauchery of a job and wasted time and money on dishonest business standards. They also continued to send different managers every time into my home telling us more lies to cover up. The biggest bullies in this was Desiree, Rob and Vince. We complained to corporate and got nowhere. When we have company over they notice the terrible job and we make sure to let them know our story about Avalon Flooring . Please check other platforms for reviews as well like yelp and Reddit Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau on this company before hiring them....

However shortly after my review, a representative from the company reached out to me and wanted to know about my experience at the store. After a short conversation she put me in contact with the store’s manager. The store manager Brian went above and beyond when meeting with me to discuss my initial visit and apologized for the experience. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. In addition he show me a lot of products and price points to achieve the look I am going for. I will definitely recommend Avalon flooring and use them...

Upon finding out we were building a new house, we had several people insist that we see Kevin Schiffer at Avalon Flooring in Deptford to finalize the final details of our new home. My husband and I decided to drive the hour and a half from Wildwood to see the magic for ourselves, and we are SO glad we did! Kevin made the tedious task of choosing tile, flooring, etc. so much fun and brought the vision we had for our home to life. (If you are in the middle of a new build or renovation, you know how overwhelming this task can be!)
