Burlington — Local services in Deptford Township

Good evening Google Family. I visited this location of Burlington for the first time today on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. I am looking for shorts and tops. I have not purchased any clothes for myself all summer long. Its called being frugal and thrifty. Well I need clothes, I have more workout clothes than regular clothes, so its time!!!! I shop quickly. I hate shopping, so I look for what I want, try it on, I hate that part and then I pay for it and then I leave, Hallelujah!!!! I saw a lot of nice outfits that I liked and I loved that they were inexpensive, just what I like, not too pricey. I just need clothes period. nothing expensive, but reasonable. I decided on a few items and then I waited for a fitting room to be empty. They had two. Then a lady came out of the one and I went in. I was in there for a while, since I had taken about 12 items. It amazes me that now they do not ask how many items you have and give you a number. They used to do that back in my day. I tried on a jacket and two pairs of pants. The jacket seemed too small, I could fit it but I didn't feel right in it. The two pairs of pants, a denim white and a denim blue were a little snug. So I decided against those. I made my selection, 4 tops and 3 pairs of shorts. I calculated it on my phone and then I asked an associate to watch it for me so that I could go to the rest room. The rest room was clean and neat. Very nice. I left and then I paid for my items.. Everything was $76.93. My clothes were in the back with the associates. Everyone was super nice there. I asked for cash back but Burlington does not honor cash back. I never understand why stores like Ross, Burlington, Marshall, TJ Maxx do not have cash back. A big MYSTERY!!!!!! The Dollar Tree has cash back but you have to pay $1.25. I am not paying $1.25 to get my own money. That doesn't make a bit of sense to me. I told the associates where I work out at, which is the Edge in Deptford and they told me to come back. I assured them I would. I like this location of Burlington very much. Much better than the ones in Delaware County, Pa. Have a great night Google Family, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!! I pressed one outfit to wear tomorrow after I work out at The Edge and take my shower. Good night!!!! Also, I asked for the hangers and they gave them to me, no issues at all. An update to the previous review: I visited today to purchase some pants. I recently visited the Burlington location in Hatford. I will never patronize that location again. I tried on two pairs of pants that I liked, a black pair and a denim pair with the cutouts. I liked them both. I went to pay for them and I asked the associate, may I have the hangers? She said no, and that they need their hangers, they are running low. Libby, who I like very much, she remembered me from the previous time that I was there, I asked her could I have the hangers? Libby said yes, of course, anytime. I was so ecstatic!!! Why couldn't the lady in Hatford do that? Anyway I tried on 5pairs of pants and I decided on 4 of them. A very successful shopping trip and experience. Anytime I need clothes or anything else, I am coming here!!! Libby is the BOMB! and she assisted me today. Good night...

Love shopping here for specific items as you can find really cute shoes for sale, or score cute clothing from brands like Old Navy, Nike, Calvin Klein, and etc for cheap or on clearance and really cool appliances or other products for your home. Great to buy certain miscellaneous items or presents.

However, I'm disappointed in the long wait lines at this location and them putting items on sale that are clearly worn, used, returned, stained or damaged. Last week, I stopped by to exchange my heels for another pair of shoes but they told me they couldn't take my heels as a return because they were worn once which I argued they were too wide and uncomfortable causing me to trip. Found that odd as I then checked the shoe aisle to fact check that claim but saw a couple of pairs that were clearly returned and worn exactly the same way. Then I picked up a cute white blouse the same day that seemed alright but when I took it home I was able to see it had blue stains all over which I was luckily able to get most off but it was a shame to deal with that as it costed $20. If anything they should discount items like that heavily and put it in one section or not put them on the racks at all.

I always pop in here from time to time so I'm surprised that these two things happened as it demonstrates poor customer service. They could definitely fix that and organize the store better! It's hard to look for certain goods! Other than that you can find decent things if you pop in the right times...

Wanted to buy rugs from Burlington in Deptford. Found 2 rugs one of which didn't have a price. So went to the cashier who was a blonde with glasses who provided the worst customer service I have witnessed in my life. She was unable to find the price for one and had asked an assistant for help for it and then she ripped out the price tag for the other rug stating it's not a price of the rug. She gave the price for the unlabeled rug from her head without waiting for the other store assistant to get back to her for the price. We asked her to scan the other rug but she wouldn't scan the item. Price was marked down but she ripped the tag and gave the original price of a marked down item. Not sure if she liked the rugs and wanted to take home herself and that's why she ripped out the tag. But I wish I could give this experience negative stars forget zero. Would not be returning here and would highly recommend staying away to avoid wasting your...
