National Golf Outlet — Attraction in Destin

This place is by far the best. Staff is wonderful. Not pushy at all but willing to assist. I went in looking to have a very old set of Ping irons reshafted. They were more than willing but after comparing prices of reshafting a full set of irons vs getting new irons with better technology, it was a simple decision (old irons were 26yrs old). Jack was super and not once did he try to “push a sale”. He took the time to fit me. Answered my questions, told me to hit as many balls as I wanted and already had my specs in mind before he did the actual fitting. He was spot on too!!! They didn’t have what I spec’d to in stock but another store did. He called, got them delivered, shafts cut to spec, and gripped by the last day of our vacation. He even called to let me know they arrived and he was working on gripping them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve bought other clubs while in Destin (woods, driver, etc) but hadn’t gone to National Golf Outlet until this trip; now there is no other store around that will get my business when in town. My fiance and I are golfers and went here to check out prices and we were not disappointed! They have everything you can imagine-- gloves, clubs, bags, towels, clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. We stayed for over an hour and were constantly checked on by all staff to see if we needed help or had questions-- to the point of being almost annoying, but we know they just wanted to be helpful! Good prices on most anything and even clearance items. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, and even let my fiance try a driver out in a back room! They can make adjustments or repairs as well. We purchased a Georgia Tech putter sock, three golf gloves (GREAT price!), and a pair of golf shoes for my fiance who is a size 15-- they are Adidas and with discounts were only $45! Lots to look at, friendly service, and good prices-- the staff even took our items to the register so we didn't have to carry them! Recommended by locals and read great reviews when searching online. My husband was looking for golf pants. The owner said he thought he had some, but doesn't sell many, so they weren't on the floor. He went to the back room twice while he was there, but could not find them. He asked my husband for his number so he could call if he found them. He called after they were already closed and offered to stay later if he wanted to come by. We couldn't believe the excellent customer service! I went back in with my husband and they have really great prices on their products. Sadly, only one of those pairs fit. My mother in law wound up buying herself a set of clubs and a whole lot more because of the prices and service. They also regripped my father in laws clubs while we were there for a reasonable price.
