Red hair cashier is super mean really rude. Makes me uncomfortable when I go there. I stop going there. I used to go there all the time on my bike run but not stop going there because the staff is pretty rude especially when you buy something that’s your favorite comfort item.

The red haired woman is super mean and just stares at you. I used to try to be nice and start conversation with small talk but it goes. What do you want get out of my face black girl .

So I don’t shop where I’m not wanted is that simple.

Being a native in Detroit for almost 10 years now , born and raised in Detroit, went to high school in downtown Detroit, I’ve seen businesses fall and rise, hopefully she’s not a part of your demise.

Otherwise, it’s a great owner . The owner who is Italian or something like that is very kind respectful and amazing. The girl who run the juice bar is amazing.

The staff that has the Mexican food is amazing .

Everyone else who works there is pretty rude and disrespectful and it’s pretty sad .

I’ve always loved this place, but I’m really disappointed that the employees here have decided that they are somehow exempt from wearing masks. With the exception of the Taco Veloz employees, no one here wears masks. Not even the employees dealing with food and making smoothies. There is no plastic separation between the smoothie people and customers either. Then they’re preparing food massless. Frankly it’s really irresponsible, especially in a city where COVID-19 has been spreading like wildfire. I’m wondering how many people have walked in to get something and left when they saw the employee who was about to prepare their food not wearing a mask. Do better to protect your employees and community members...

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good variety of your average finds for a little food market, with a little bit more options and different unique choices. Good selection of drinks as well, and located in a perfect place sitting near the university, laundromat, restaurants, apartments, and other essential local places. Also usually has a good collection of flyers in the doorway to find local events! It’s also always clean and welcoming inside, at any weather or time of day.
