Doral Physical Therapy — Attraction in Doral

Thanks to Ryan Navarro, I have avoided back surgery for a degenerative condition! I am very grateful to him for giving me the proper therapy, exercises, direction and supervision I have needed to successfully manage my condition and overcome my physical challenges and limitations. Ryan is very passionate about his profession and loves what he does….you can tell. He has instilled in me the confidence and a “can do” attitude, and I feel as if I have quality of life again. His staff (Solomon, Ben, and Gabe) are very friendly and professional, and are there to readily assist in my care when needed. They make sure I perform the exercises as instructed so that I attain the expected outcomes. Insofar as the administrative staff, Lourdes is very helpful and efficient by making sure all of my clinical and insurance documents are in order which helps to avoid any treatment disruptions. She is well versed in insurance benefits which minimizes any hassles. Leslie (front desk) is always very friendly and greets me when I arrive. Before leaving, he confirms I have my next appointment. This insures I have continuity in my care which has been instrumental in my outcome. This place is the complete package. Just an overall lack of professionalism by the staff. Yeah they were friendly but they were all constantly talking amongst themselves and joking around instead of using their time towards the patients. The only time they acted like paid professionals was a week that a gentleman named Ron was there who you could absolutely tell was part of management because the staff was attentive and professional. No one was paying attention to the exercises you are doing so if you did them wrong you’ll never know. My therapist was nice and friendly but would be watching tv while giving a massage or talking on the phone to her car insurance. It’s a shame because the facility is nice and conveniently located. I hope this review serves as a step in the right direction for management in fixing these issues as my purpose is not to trash talk the people but help others who put their time and trust on these “professionals” to receive the treatment they need. Maybe I should have switched to one of the other therapist who seemed to be a bit more hands on and attentive. Physical Therapist Tamara is part of a click. If you are not in that click or a certain caribbean island she doesn't care about your injury. She treats you poorly even thou you are paying her salary. When she gives therapy or massages she looks the other way, she leaves the massage session halgway done and storms out to chat with her buddies about partying, what car she drives etc if you complain she retaliates by leaving her therapy incomplete and cutting you short. Management doesnt seem to care when complained about it. Advice: stay away from this place. They just want your money and service is terrible. many other reputable bussiness where you can leave your money and get good...
