Carroll's Jewelers — Attraction in Doylestown

I have mixed reviews of this place since the quality of work is hit or miss. They did a great job restringing my pearl bracelet and fixing my rose gold bracelet that I inherited from my grandmother. It was a very dear piece to me and had intricate etchings. I was nervous how it would come out, but the result was as good as new. I had other rings fixed here and bought presents for my mom.

On the other hand, when I came in to pickup my mom's Swarovski brooch after few crystals needed to be replaced, the brooch was still missing at least 5 crystals. Rob took care of it and was very pleasant and helpful. The worst experience, however, happened when I came in to replace holdins for my gold earrings. The salesperson showed me several choices from catalog and we settled on one. I let her know that I trust her experience since I can't see it in person but it needs to be sturdy for every day use and accommodate the width so the earrings could move freely in the holding. What I got back was absolutely awful. The earing was stuck in the holding in a weird angle because it was too small and quality was very flimsy and cheap and was bending in my hand just trying it on. But the worst part was that instead of apologizing and fixing the mistake, salesperson told me that "I got what I paid for." She made me feel so uncomfortable and angry that I haven't been back since. This is not a way to treat a repeat customer or any customer. It took again speaking to Rob to have things cleared out. I really hope this salesperson is no longer...

Carroll’s is where my now-husband found my engagement ring back in 2021 and they have been amazing with customer service, timing, and pricing for the past two years. We went back to them for our wedding bands. My wedding band was easy to find, it was the complimentary band made by Gabriel & Co. for my engagement ring. But, for my husband, he saw a few examples in the case but also saw some options online that Kate brought up on their tablet. Not knowing for certain which band he was leaning towards, Kate and the team were able to bring in a few additional options so he could see them in-person before making the final choice. For the day of the wedding, we saw a Gabriel & Co. delicate necklace in their catalog, so Kate was also able to bring in the exact necklace we were eying and I tried it on a few weeks later.
