With several daughters we have gone to Piper and Scoot many times, with good experiences. Unfortunately this past experience has been a mess. Over two weeks ago we ordered a dress in store for prom being told it would come in 3-5 business days a week later (passing up other dress options) we received and email saying we have been refunded for the dress. After emailing customer service we learned that the dress was out of stock and they couldn't fulfill the order but gave us a $10 credit. Our daughter was heartbroken and left looking for a dress again. Yesterday we found the same dress online again. I called a couple stores to see if it was in their store afraid to have the same online experience. After talking to an employee I was advised to order online and then reach out to customer service to let them know we need it asap. We told them we would be willing to go to another store for pickup if needed. I received a reply saying it would be ready for pickup tomorrow (today) at the Draper store. I loaded up the kids and made a trip to the Draper store. They hadn't received the warehouse delivery but I was told it would be there soon. We killed 2 hours around Draper when I called to see if the order was in I was informed that the delivery had just happened but without my order. I called customer service to see what was going on only to be told they can't find the dress. They will continue looking but may need to refund my account again. I now have a discouraged daughter again too. Hopefully they can find the dress and the review can change. *On a side note the employees at Draper and Fashion Place stores have been very helpful and kind! Update Customer service informed us they couldn't find the dress. We were offered a different size or color. Neither would work for our daughter. Both options were sold out...
Read moreIâm sure theyâre going to respond with a weak attempt at making this not their fault or how their behavior is somehow justified but let me explain. Iâve placed multiple orders with them over the years and have had 1 (now 2) bad experience. I placed orders between these experiences that were great. They post a pair of shoes theyâre charging $175 for and I pointed out how thatâs a lot of money and I wonât be purchasing. In like a joking way, too, that was like âin this economy? đ¤Ż). Not publicly, just privately. They responded with a snarky âsounds goodâ and then removed me as a follower on instagram. I said thatâs wild. They responded with screenshots of past questions Iâve had regarding sizing (literally maybe 3 questions Iâve asked in the span of two or three years, one of which they never responded to, one of which they were dodgy about when they would restock and then restocked the next day so I had already ordered from a different store, when Iâve ordered way more times than that) and how that somehow justifies removing me? I just think behaving like this as a business is immature. You have to be able to take criticism or at least offer some sort of sympathy for your overpriced items. I have only had 1 instance before where their sizing and suggested fit was completely wrong. Then I had a problem recently where I contacted them before the order was placed, they didnât respond, and then before it was even sent out (72 hours of no update) and instead of checking, they brushed me off until the order was sent and they could conveniently no longer help me. Itâs a bigger bummer for them than me or my pocket book...
Read moreLoved my item, but they are SO stingy about returns/price adjustments. I purchased a dress, but then ordered the same exact thing again a couple days later with a discount. I was planning to return the full price one so I didn't have two of the same dress and keep the one with the discount. For some weird reason, I received my second order in the mail first, with the discount on it, but didn't realize it and returned that order by accident assuming the first package I received would be the one that I placed first without a discount. I emailed customer service explaining the situation and asked for a price adjustment for my other order that I had paid full price for since it was the same exact item. They told me that they couldn't because it was their policy, however it doesn't mention anything about that in their policy online. I was super frustrated because I work in retail also and use the same POS system that they use and I know how it works, but they were not willing to do that. I'm bummed and will not order from them again. I will also not be recommending them to my friends/family. The prices are marked up and you can find most things through other boutiques anyways. To make things even better, I went in to the retail store to return my dress and I wasn't greeted at all. The girl looked at me and then continued on with her conversation with someone else. I work for a retail company who has very high expectations of customer service, so Piper and Scoot has one of the lowest...
