I don't eat sushi and I defintely wouldn't eat it from a place that had the name "garage" in it if I did. Anyway... On to our experience.
We decided to try this place out based off some of the reviews and the atmosphere. The place is cool inside, I'll give it that. Great decor, menu names and your even get shop towels to use as napkins.
Started off with a house margarita and backseat blonde beer. The margarita was so bland, defintely tasted like a good tequila even though it claims to have silver and not worth the $6.50 we paid. The beer however, was great and well worth the $3.
Food:
We ordered the speed trap nachos and the wings to start. The chips were warm and great, the queso was a bland spice. Salsa was decent but not great. The wings... Oh man were they awful. Over cooked, very rubbery and way to spicey. Defintely over priced and not worth it.
Main meals -
Red line dog - Man this thing had potential when reading off the menu but defintely left with a huge disappointment. Not only was it not on a pretzel bun, it was extremely salty with a sweet chili on top. Again, overpriced hot dog.
Short rib grill - here is the menu description.
"4 on the Floor Grilled Cheese Big Block Stout Braised Short Rib, Four Cheese Blend, Sliced Jalapeno Corn Bread"
Here is what you really get - sourdough bread with cornmeal crust. Definitely no Jalapeno Corn Bread. Pretty sure I had maybe 2 cheeses, not 4. And last but not least, fatty chunks of meat.
Yet again, another huge let down and misconception.
Kids grilled cheese and apples. Best part of the entire meal.
Service was great though and our waitress was very on top of everything and we were greeted promptly upon arrival. This is where the 2 stars come from a well as the decor.
So needless to say.... We will never return and I'm not sure where the great reviews came from but defintely follow the less than stellar reviews. They are defintely more accurate. Pictures may make the food look amazing but looks can be deceiving. Should be renamed "Overpriced...

The cars and atmosphere was really cool. Only downside was moths flying around inside and near us. My kids were entertained by them, parents not so much.
The service was absolutely awful. Hostess was great and was able to seat us right away. Our server, however, did not check in with us until 15 min after seating. While still deciding on food, another 20 min passed before she came by to take our order. It took another 40 min before we got our food and it required us asking because a large party seated before us had gotten their food after quite a while and I could tell they were getting antsy too. Once food was served, my husband asked for another beer. 30 min later and still no beer and we had to walk up to the bar to ask for our check because the server hadn’t come by to check on us. It wasn’t too busy, but maybe they were short staffed. Our server was also behind the bar so it’s possible she was doubling as server and bar tender. Just not a great customer experience and seems inefficient for table turnover.
Food was not the best. Husband got the brisket sandwich and it tasted like the grill hasn’t been cleaned in a while. We got the chicken tenders too and they were extremely oily. Due to high price point, you would think the quality would be a bit better. Not a lot of beer options for high point.
Advice for restaurant if receptive to feedback: Cleanup the menu, too many choices makes it overwhelming. improve food to table time and have servers check on patrons more frequently (we were only checked on 3 total times for the 1.5 hrs we were there) -remove the moths flying around inside -due to food quality, potentially need for a deep...
Read moreA good restaurant to talk about. Over all I think anyone can appreciate coming here and with the cars inside it is very unique. The menu also is creative. I loved the clean restroom and the adequate amount of soap dispensed and the large well taken care of bathroom sink I hope this is a constant and not just happened to be clean when we came. Id say it's the classiest most important part of a restaurant to have clean adequate facilities and reflects on everything else there. Some of the best prompt waitor service I've had, however I did not agree with having an isle on both sides of the table but the waitor reached clear to one side rather than utilizing the option to not do so. It resulted in some spilled drink on another's table. Also 15$ for the least expensive burger and fries is a bit much and nothing to rave about. Now my wife and her son were thrilled with their meals. If I come again id look forward to the clean restrooms and prompt service and hope those are an everyday all day occurrence there. I love ribs and would have tried them there but anything (like rib sauce) that has alcohol in is a big turn off and lack of values or responsibility and with no option for BBQ sauce without it and in the great state of Utah that has a standard set apart from other states where many do not consume alcohol. Please don't say the alcohol is all cooked out for it is not and great flavor doesn't come from alcohol or the ingredients that come with it more than anything else that has a great taste. So that's my rant and rave, that's my recent honest facts and opinions. Find me at the next review, my wifes cooking, my favorite restaurant it doesn't matter you'll get it straight here and we hope things every where improve and design to...
