I usually shop at the Target in Duarte and often use self-checkout for convenience. During my recent visit, I encountered an issue with an item that couldn’t be scanned because it was secured in an acrylic case. I turned around to ask for assistance and noticed an employee named Maribel standing in the self checkout. Unfortunately, she was on her personal cell phone and seemed completely disengaged.
I politely said “excuse me” several times, but she appeared irritated and finally responded with, “What! Are you going to take the item or what?”—which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. All I needed for her to remove the secured acrylic case.
Target needs to seriously improve the level of customer service on the sales floor. Management should be more attentive to how employees are conducting themselves while on the clock, especially when it comes to helping customers. in Duarte is my usual to shop went through self checkout for faster there was an item I couldn’t scan because it was protected with the acrylic. I turned around to look for a employee to help me but employee by the name of Maribel was too busy to help me because she was on her personal cell phone reading idk what. I told her excuse me I don’t know how many times and she got bothered and told me what! are you going to take the item or what very rude. Target needs to work on their customer service with their employees. Management needs to pay more attention of what their employees are doing on the...

But she still said nope not her store. I ended up leaving not purchasing anything when I shop at target literally twice a week never had a problem with my digital or manufactured coupons first time an employee tells me only their store doesn’t take them. If someone can please contact me back or email it...
Read moreI purchased a cleaning item for in store pickup. Bev assisted and brought my item to the register. The box was clearly a return since the original person who purchased it online returned it and left their shipping label on it with their home address. I pointed it out to Bev and she said, well I just scanned it so if you want a new one you'll have to start a return and bring the other one and purchase it again. NO. So i walked to the back because CLEARLY she was too lazy to call someone else to help. On my way to get the "new" one I asked someone else and they said I could just swap it and let the front know. So I grabbed the last one they had at the back of the shelf and brought it to the front. When I got to the front I told Bev I was going to take the new one. When I got to the car, I called my husband and he said to check that all the parts were there. Its a good thing he pointed that out because when i opened the box in the parking lot it was missing at least 1 item. So I walked back in. Made line for the 3rd time and told the other person at the register what happened and just asked for a refund. WASTE OF TIME!!! Target, make sure you don't resell ish that's already been returned without letting the new purchaser know. That's inconsiderate, deceptive and a waste of...
