Harbor Freight — Local services in Duarte

There isn't much to say, this is a Harbor Freight. It is a chain store that sales low price tools. Most of the tools work fine but they do also sell some stuff that doesn't work very well. I recommend looking on their website for reviews of each thing you are interested in buying to find out if people have problems with that particular tool. This location has the full selection that other locations have. I also recommend looking to see what is on sale, the sales seem to rotate over most of the inventory so almost everything goes on sale...

It was a little hard to find. When I drove into the lot, I saw the Best Buy, but drove right past Harbor Freight. They should have a sign on the side of the building.

The quality some of their tools have gone up with the induction of the Hercules line. Then again, so has the price. The real problem is the warranty. Harbor Freight is 90 days. You can look at Harbor Freight as a direct connection with Chinese tool manufacturers. For a lot of tools most of the alternatives are also going to be made in China. For some things the Harbor Freight tools are as good as the name brand (I'm looking at you Craftsman, Husky, etc.). I have yet to break a Harbor Freight socket.
