Our party of five was seated at a table in the corner of the building that nobody paid attention to. We were served drinks first and took multiple attempts to flag down the server for further orders. After we placed an appetizer order we never saw our server again. When I received the $20 charcuterie board that I ordered there were three types of meat cut into pieces of two that were far too thick for any cracker and they gave us 10 crackers with six choices of meats. The knife supplied was the dullest knife I've ever used, it imposed a significant threat of injury to myself as I used it. Once we had placed $100 worth of orders we were never waited on again and had to go to the service counter to ask for our check as it had been almost 45 minutes since our server had even looked at our table despite passing it multiple times to attend to the courtside tables outdoors. Very disappointed with the quality of the service and the charcuterie board was an absolute comedic failure. The meat supplied although tasty were not single portions and the cheeses supplied although tasty were large chunks not ready for individual portioning. It took me 10 minutes of my own portioning with an extremely dull knife to make a presentable board for our party of five. I do not recommend taking a lunch party to Stone Cliff winery on the weekend as they do not have a lunch menu on the weekend. This is not advertised on their site and it is not easily discerned that there are only appetizers available with a minimal wine list and multiple wines printed on that list are not available when you...

I can not say enough wonderful things about Stone Cliff Winery and their staff. I recently had my rehearsal dinner and wedding at Stone Cliff and, as cliche as it may sound, had the wedding of my dreams. Jodi and the rest of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Jodi, the coordinator, always communicated with me and responded in a timely manner to any questions/ideas/comments/concerns and provided me with great insight. Shortly after booking, Jodi provided us with vendor information (which was very helpful since we were an out-of-town couple) as well as communicated directly with our caterer and other vendors. The venue itself is unique and gorgeous, both on the inside and out. We had our ceremony outside on the amphitheater - with the bridge and flowering trees in the background, and the Mississippi River just over the hill (all of which made for amazing pictures). The reception was held inside and accommodated our ~160 people comfortably and is beautifully decorated with lights, wine barrels, artwork, and exposed bricks. How can such a gorgeous venue ALSO be affordable?? I would recommend Stone Cliff to any couple looking for their perfect...

The food was good. The problem was with the service. My family is diverse, some are native English speaking and others are not. When we sat down a nice young woman asked if we needed service in Spanish. She said it in Spanish. A member of our party said yes (in Spanish). The young lady went to get our waters. The woman behind the bar told her to quit showing off, sent her to the kitchen and we didn't see the Spanish speaking individual again. The woman behind the bar took over our service. She repeatedly made mistakes with our order. I saw her write it all down correctly. I don't believe she was enthusiastic about the diversity of our group as she never smiled. She said the absolute minimum to us to take our orders. I don't recommend this establishment for a...

I enjoy their wine a lot. I enjoy dry wine and had their cabernet. My my husband and friend enjoy sweet and had their strawberry rhubarb and my friend enjoyed the Purple cow. We hold off from going as often as we like since they are not flexible on their charcuterie board for a vegetarian. We had someone come along who had the meat portion this time and they did put it on a separate plate since I have an allergy. It would be nice to be able to order a charcuterie that can be adapted for a vegetarian to enjoy and/or pay for extra cheese to add on. I would love to see a chocolate pairing board to go with their jazzbery port, it's delicious and would compliment it well too.

Stone Cliff Winery has a great location, on the Mississippi River, but you can’t see the river because of the levee. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon walking along the river walk, and decided to finish with a drink here. We loved sitting on the patio. The old brick brewery shaded us from the late afternoon sun. Service was fabulous. The Cabernet and Chardonnay were drinkable. IMHO The Pinot was undrinkable. When the server asked how we liked the Pinot and we told her we didn’t, she offered to replace it with anything else we might like. The bread and oil was AMAZING as an accompaniment to the wine. If you order the bread and oil, ask for the balsamic vinegar. Perfection.

Visited this winery in a fascinating beer museum located on the port. Loved the layout and design of the tasting room. Large windows light the whole room up like you are sitting outside. Staff is very helpful and well versed in wine making process and history of the winemaker. Favorite part about this winery in the wine. Tasting includes generous pours and option to purchase glass for a very low price. I like sweet wines and was very impressed with their selection of them. All prices were very reasonable which encouraged me to by several. Loved the Jazz-berry Port and will defiantly be coming again.
