The Game Sports Bar — Restaurant in Dubuque

We weren't sure what to expect, but we were excited. Their online menu made my mouth water. So we decided to try this. The location of the dining was inside of Diamond Jo Casino way in the corner near the bowling alley. It was empty so that should have been m first hint, but I ignored it because I figured it's the hour or something. Our waitress was almost robotic. She seemed to just say things to us before we even finished our order or question. Sort of like rehearsed and it was the same tone for everything. I ordered wings (of course) and hubby got a pizza. The food came and we were floored. The wings tasted a bit rushed, as in high heat gotta get this out, rushed. And I bit into one and almost threw up, literally. Something in it was so BAD, I just stopped and chugged both of our Pepsi's. His pizza was the freezer kind, baked. This man loves his pizza and he didn't' even eat an entire slice. I asked the waitress and she said it was frozen dough. When the manager came, she said it was made from scratch.... ???? Which one is telling the truth. The manager was decent enough, gave us the pizza free because she could tell it was hardly touched. Moral of the story? Hole in the wall places aren't always...

Needs to create a better vibe...feels like a corporate venue ...needs to change interior with more sports memorabilia and become more inviting...I think the food is very good and is a great place to watch games because of numerous quality flat screen TVS... It's so nice you can park indoors because it's part of the Diamond Jo free parking ramp enclosure that has 4...

I have doubled back to write this review multiple times. What awful service. If I can tell you any restaraunt to avoid in Dubuque. Its this one. The supervisor is obviously the brother to one of the waiters. And the waiter was the worst I've had in 20 years. Litterally. Worst restaraunt experience of my life. Get your stuff straight if you want to feed...
