Enjoyed 3 strolls with my wife along this great path in the 3 days we were in Duluth. Although I believe I heard it was 7 miles long, we just did the stretch between Leif Ericsson Park (free parking) and the Aerial Bridge.
We saw a lake otter being chased and harassed by a pack of seagulls. We also saw an incredible sunrise on a glassy Lake Superior.
We appreciated the boardwalk and bike path side by side in the busy stretch closest to Canal Park. Our boat tour guide noted that a storm destroyed a good portion of it sometime in the last 5 years and it apparently cost the city $17 million to rebuild (much stronger...

One complaint: snow removal. There was no sign whatsoever that any attempt had ever been made to remove, salt, or reduce the snow and ice cover on the sidewalks.
Ramps were ice rinks. Stairs were lumpy ramps of packed snow. Sidewalks were covered in inches of packed snow. Shovel it, salt it, heck ZAMBONI it.
