I will be basing this review on a variety of factors. This includes the stores it has, how big it is, how easy it is to navigate the mall, and my own personal opinion. To begin, I would like to note that while it is slightly more compact, it is still filled with numerous stores to shop at. its compact nature makes it very easy to navigate around in. parking is also quite comfortable with a vast number of parking spots as well as making it quite easy to know where you parked due to them having sections for each area. once your inside it is also very easy to know where you are at due to the mall kind of forming a circle, so once you learn the structure of the mall it is very easy to navigate, as well as the same sectors coming into play inside the mall as well. there are a few maps located if you get lost too. the amount of shops this mall has is also quite impeccable. it has many big name brands all compiled into this mall. big clothing brands such as American Eagle, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Levi's, and so many more. They have a books-a-million for anyone looking for a good read. This mall has a Bass Pro Shop, for anyone looking to find anything fitting their wildest outdoor dreams. This mall also contains numerous fun activities for people to enjoy. this mall has a Dave and Busters for all people looking for a fun time at the arcade, Mystery room, for people who get a thrill out of puzzles, GE Airsoft, for the people who love the tense environment of fighting against each other in an indoor airsoft battle. my only complaint would be their food court is not as massive as some other malls I have been to in the area. they do have a number of fast food, such as Taco Bell, Popeyes, Panda Express, and a few others, but when it comes to restaurants they are definitely lacking. Aside from food the shops here are amazing. Now I am going to be primarily basing my comparisons on the Mall of Georgia. In comparison, The mall of Georgia definitely is better in the food court area, having numerous restaurants, and in my own personal opinion, better fast food as well. Now onto the mall itself, I will be one to say that the Sugarloaf is easier to navigate due to its compact nature. The Mall of Georgia has two stories and many shops, its easy to get lost in there. onto the shops, they are almost identical, and from my own experience, it feels to me that the Mall of Georgia contains more small businesses, while Sugarloaf tends to have more big brands. Overall in my opinion, while both are great, and I would highly recommend checking both out, Sugarloaf is superior due to its easy to navigate nature and is usually...
Read moreI had a great experience visiting Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville. It’s a large, indoor outlet-style mall that offers a little bit of everything—shopping, dining, and entertainment—all under one roof. What I really appreciated was how spacious and clean the mall was, with wide walkways, clear signage, and plenty of places to sit and relax throughout the day.
The variety of stores was impressive. There are a mix of outlet favorites like Nike, Adidas, and H&M, along with unique specialty shops and locally owned businesses that add character to the mall. Whether you're shopping for clothes, electronics, home goods, or just browsing, there’s a wide selection to choose from and often some great deals to be found.
Beyond shopping, Sugarloaf Mills also offers a fun entertainment experience. There's a movie theater, an arcade, and even indoor attractions like a bounce park and mini golf, which makes it great for families or a casual day out. The mall never felt too crowded or overwhelming, even on weekends.
Food options were solid too, with a decent-sized food court and several sit-down restaurants. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, there’s something to satisfy...
Read moreSugarloaf Mills (formerly Discover Mills) should probably be considered a place of cultural significance. Opened in 2001, Sugarloaf Mills is an incredible representation of the evolution of anesthetics through the past two decades. It still has a working carousel (some malls in the Atlanta area have decompressioned them).
Everytime I go, I am struck by just how interesting you can make a concrete building. There are bright colors everywhere, the stores are extremely interesting. Two stores in particular-- Earthbound and Icon-- are worth mentioning. When you step into Earthbound, you forget you're in a mall store. The noise just kind of fades away as you look at stones and incense. The women who work there exude a positive energy that radiates throughout the store.
Icon has some of the most interesting fashion you'll find off-Internet. The t-shirts push the limits of fashion. Who knew you could reinvent the wheel so successfully? Every time I go in, I find a jacket, hoodie, or shirt that just completely blows my mind.
There are also several visually appealing signs, walls, floors, and ceilings. I Discover something new each time I make the giant loop...
