La-Z-Boy Algonquin — Attraction in Dundee Township

I am very pleased with my purchase from La-Z Boy Algonquin, IL. I especially want to recognize Wendy Strauss because she gave me beyond amazing service. Among many of the things she did for me, I was most impressed and grateful for he help with my delivery.

When I purchased with Wendy, I was not planning on buying furniture, I was actually with my parents who were looking. I had just recently purchased a home and was waiting to close on the home. I fell in love with a piece for my new bedroom. Wendy helped me put a hold on delivery til I successfully closed and then we sent the piece out for customization.

Buy some misunderstanding, when I called after closing I paid the balance off and it was somehow not sent out to be made. Wendy happened to see my paperwork and followed up with me - left me a message saying she saw it and was going to send it out but to call if this was not correct. Since I thought the order went out a few weeks before I was kinda upset that my piece didn’t get sent out.

The amazing thing was that she followed up with me we she saw my paperwork again AND when it arrived at their store she called and left 2 messages and even txt me from her personal cell to make sure I knew it was ready! (On my voicemail msg I give permission to txt me for faster response) and I thought it was above and beyond great service to txt me making sure I got her messages.

On top of that she made right the fact that my order was delayed by giving me a discount on shipping fees - even though it was not HER error.

Just all over super kind and easy to talk to. She never once pressured me into buying anything. She is a gem and I hope she gets to see this....

I was looking for new furniture and a friend recommended them. Stopped in a couple of weeks ago and was surprised by what a large selection of beautiful QUALITY furniture they have on display. I was greeted by Sale's Consultant, Heather. Explained to her I was looking for both a sofa and love seat. She made great suggestions after listening to what I wanted. Since I wasn't sure what else I wanted to do in our living room, Heather suggested having an interior designer do a home visit. Didn't think I really needed an interior designer, but since there was no charge, I decided maybe it would be helpful. Best decision I made. Designer, Stephanie made a home visit and she was awesome! She listened, answered all my questions and then made recommendations. She has great decorating ideas. She took pictures of our living room and when I returned to the store actually showed me what the room would look like with the furniture I selected along with her decorating ideas. Neither of the two associates ever pressured me into getting something I didn't want. Couldn't believe the process was so easy and to top it off, the quality was far above other furniture stores in the area and their prices were great. It was a very positive experience! Review #1: I knew what I wanted when I walked in. The salesperson didn’t try to talk me into something more expensive. She accessed our account and everything was completed in about 30 minutes-including matching of fabrics and color choices. She really knew her products. Such a pleasure to do business with! I just wish delivery could be sooner than 4-7 months. But we do understand it’s a pandemic.

He suggested a different chair that came in the color I was looking for for the same price. Moreover he was able to suggest a shorter ottoman in my price range. He knew which pieces were eligible for which fabrics and was extremely helpful.
