I purchased a Christmas tree a couple days ago for $99.00 the Dunwoody location. When I opened the package I noticed that a piece was damaged so I returned back to this location where I purchased the initial Christmas tree to request an even exchange. I had my receipt. The night manager said that I would have to pay about $35 more because the price had changed from the other day. I didn’t understand since I was simply wanting to exchange for the very same item due to the damage. She proceeded to tell me that if I take it to another Michael’s location perhaps the staff there would exchange it for me without charging me the additional charge. I requested the employee‘s name but she refused to give it to me I did let this employee know that I was asking so I could provide her name to customer service. At this time she continued to decline to provide me with her name. I also requested her name from one of her coworkers who also refused to provide. There are plenty other places I can go to purchase a Christmas tree. However, this could’ve been resolved without me having to...
Read moreCustomer service: one star -I checked on their website that the product I want is in stock at Perimeter place store, but I couldn't find it. I asked a lady near the frame area about it and she said "we don't sell it here". I asked if she can look it up since the website says the store has it. She said "I have all the information YOU have access to." I thanked the lady and went to look for another employee because every store has an internal inventory system and consumers obviously don't have access to it. I asked another lady at the register and she told me there should be 3 in stock after checking the item # in her scanner. And of course, we can't find it. I thanked the second lady and left. Product selections: two stars -Compared to hobby lobby, their selections are outdated and slim, nothing that make me want to have/buy Neatness: one star -clearance aisle is very very messy Price: one star, if the store is messy and outdated, i expect the price to be low, but for the price, go...
Read moreThis is not necessarily your one stop shop for all things creative. It's rather annoying how it's become like a Costco by only carrying certain items for short spans of time like resin based supplies or holiday items needed to create all year round. If you're a woman, please travel with friends or family, there's a large quantity of lecherous men in clusters just standing around ogling every woman like a piece of meat from the Hyderabad restaurant & there seems to be a large influx of panhandlers in front of the store as well now. They only have 3 carts so don't expect to make many heavy or large purchases easy to carry or when they run out of bags to carry said purchases out. Don't get me started on the Cricut and how it will never be on sale and NO you will NEVER get to use a tasty 25-30% off coupon on one here or anywhere for that matter. Crafting is a dying industry much like malls &...
