MEN... I HIGHLY RECCOMEND this to be the first place you visit before deciding to pop the question. A close friend had referred me to Dunwoody Diamonds because of there consistent ability to deliver on their promise of the highest quality jewelry on the market. DO NOT LET THE SIZE OF THE STORE FOOL YOU! The store offers a wide selection of rings, necklaces, watches and other fine jewelry at the pinnacle of quality and design. YOU CANNOT COMPARE THIS PLACE TO YOUR AVERAGE DIAMOND RETAILER. The owner, Bruce, obviously takes pride in his work and not only delivering EXACTLY what you were looking for, but he WILL EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS for quality and value as he did mine. This store also offered exceptional customer service and takes the time to understand exactly what you or your loved one is looking for. I did not feel rushed or pushed in any direction that I didn’t want to go, unlike many other places I have been to. Bruce treated me like family and made me feel right at home. If what you are looking for just so happens to not be in the store, Bruce, or another jewlery expert will order you the CUSTOM MADE jewlery you were looking for.
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and find time to stop here before or after you visit another “average Joe”, “run of the mill” diamond retailer. I gave this business 5 STARS because of the high level of customer service and their ability to interpret value as I see it.
If you can’t tell by the review I left, my prior girlfriend, and now fiancé, can’t stop taking photos and showing off her ring to all of her girlfriends and all over social media. I plan on this being my “go to” diamond retailer for the long term future. Thank you Bruce and Dunwoody diamnonds for helping to make my proposal something my fiancé and I will...
Read moreI have to edit a previously posted review. My fiancé brought a design idea to Dunwoody Diamonds and I will have to say the outcome was beautiful. The original workmanship was gorgeous. The ring was originally made in a size 6 which was the requested size. Due to the fact that I have lost 35 lbs, my fingers have severely shrunk, and I now wear a size 4.75. I brought my ring back into be resized 2x's and unfortunately, the size was still too big. In a last attempt, I left my ring to be resized one final time (something that would require a bit more work as the band needed to be rebuilt). I was quoted $750 for the "repair" and was told that my ring would be ready in 7 days. After 9 days, I called the store curious as to where my ring was. I was told repeatedly that I would be called back as soon as possible, but unfortunately, my call was left unreturned. After finally contacting the store again, I was told that my had not been resized and, in fact, my ring would have to be completely rebuilt from scratch. This would be much more expensive and labor intensive. I decided to take my ring (in the exact same condition I had left it) and went to a different custom jeweler down the road. They were able to fix the sizing and actually reset a diamond that had been shifted in previous resizings by Dunwoody Diamonds. All of this was done in about 30 minutes. This cost a total of $60. I will admit that Dunwoody Diamonds does beautiful work on the front end... but I have learned the hard way that repairs and adjustments can leave you without your ring for weeks at a time and...
Read moreI have bought 4 rings from this store dating back to the year 2000 in their Gwinnett location. Have always been satisfied in the past. My wife wanted her Tiffany diamond lowered in the setting so we dropped in to see what could be done. We were told that the diamond could not be lowered, but instead we were up-sold on a halo design that should protect the center stone from catching on things. A design was shown to us that was square with rounded edges and Bruce assured us that if my wife did not like it that they could put it back like it was. We put down a $400 deposit and they did the work. When shown to us the completed ring was not like the agreed upon design at all. Sharon agreed that the ring was wrong. We wanted it back the way it was. When we returned to get the ring, we were presented with a $300 bill. My wife's rings were soldered together and resized (a service worth maybe $50) and for that we paid $300. When they say "If you're not satisfied, we will put it back the way it was", you should assume they will charge you for that, even if the reason is due to their own failure to deliver the promised ring design. We were disappointed with this treatment after what for many years had been a...
