I just had the worst experince at this location.
It’s a sunny Saturday, so I had set my expectations for it to be busy. However, one of staff members undershot the wait time for 20 mins when we actually waited about 35 mins. A better estimate with allowed us to opportunity to decide whether or not we wanted to stay to wait that long.
And then when we were notified that our table was ready we had to wait an additional 5 minutes and ultimately just decided to sit at the first available seating which was outside.
Our service started out fine at first we even placed our food in immediately. After about 45 minutes waiting, we still hadn’t received our food and when we did, it came in pieces. My sister‘s pancake was cold and came without her additional sides that come with the meal by the way, and when our server did finally bring out the rest of her food, he just placed the food on the table and didn’t ask us any additional questions. The only time that we saw him was at the beginning, and when he brought out our water.
I ended up just going to the host stand to pay for our food without our check because the heat was unbearable and at that point we had been there for almost 2 hours.
I’ve worked in the service industry for years, so I know how this industry works and I always give my serving staff grace but this experience was absolutely ridiculous. Management, please do a better job at supporting your staff and checking in on your dining guest as I also noticed that other patrons who were sitting outside, we’re having a difficult time locating their server as well when it came to their...
Read moreRacially profiles very immature very unprofessional wouldn’t allow me to sit at bar because apparently bartender was overwhelmed. I house rule, sounds very discriminating to me personally. Said everytime I come to location I have an issue, because why is it SO GHETTO HERE. Why is it tithe point where I have to travel outside of where I live to to be treated appropriately. 3 out of 10 the SEVERS ARE AMAZING MANAGEMENT NO!!!!!!!!… definitely racial profiling definitely very bias and discrimination is clearly the issue. Please read lightly! Food and service is very inconsistent!!! Go the one in CHAMBLEEER THE BEST make you feel at home. 🩷🩷🩷🩷 as I’m I’m leaving they are all making laughing sounds and coookoooo sounds Because I expect to be treated as if I am human. The humiliation i experienced, what was brought o my attention is a cleaner approached and said hey they don’t like you in here they are talking about you. I wouldn’t eat here anymore 😔 crazy! They have no idea who I am and what type of work I do. What following I have online. Sad. The as I am paying tv manager runs to the front just to be observant of what I am saying and doing as I watched. I will have corporate pull cameras To hear
Tove & Matthew Are the worst literally! Very unprofessional and racist. Very unethical and lack integrity. Being a leader and in leadership this all could have been avoided and handled in a more professional manor and I don’t blame management at all, they have a lot of learning and growing to do. The way the manager dressed shows everything. They lack intelligence and morals forsure. I’m make sure...
Read moreI've eaten at a few different First Watch locations, and the food was always mediocre at best. This dunwoody location has the best food overall! Our waiter, Tyler, was very attentive, professional, cheerful and was very helpful and efficient. We ordered the frittata rustica, cheese grits, seasoned potatoes, million dollar potatoes (no bacon), blueberry pancakes, tea, and my honey had Avocado toast dish with what looked like poached egg on top. We also had spring greens on the side. I typically don't eat heavy, but the food was so delicious that we finished it all! Everything also came out within 15 mins of us ordering. We plan to return soon! Greatest gratitude again for such awesome service, Tyler!
*My only gripe is that the acoustics in all of the First Watch restaurants I've visited are so loud! The kitchen is kind of open-faced, so you get loud, clanking of dishes, coupled with the crowd and loud music. I guess this is the aesthetic or vibe they are going for.
Edit: My Sweetie and my Mama had brunch here today and as always, the food was perfect!!! We had the pleasure of being assisted by another hospitable being with such beautiful, soothing energy- TRAVIS!!! He was very patient, attentive, full of smiles, and so full of light! We don't meet any strangers lol and he just jumped right on in!!! I hope he knows and innerstands how great his customer service is, as well as his overall presence. 🌱🌱🌱 Greatest gratitude to you, TRAVIS for adding another layer of satisfaction during our stay. We appreciate you!!! 🫶🏽 We hope to share space...
