Summary of my experience: Terrible customer service, very aggressive sales techniques, and almost impossible to cancel my membership.
I went to this place to try out cryotherapy for the first time and see if I like it. While I was in the store, I realized they have another location that is closer to my house. So when they tried to sell me the membership, I told them that I would prefer to go to the other location. Then they used very aggressive sales techniques to try to make me sign up. For example, the main manager came and offered me a 25% discount on facials on top of the member pricing if I were to sign up at this location. So I accepted the offer and became a member. After my facial, when I go to pay, I realize not only they are not giving me the 25% discount, but they are charging me even more than the member pricing (I was a member so I should've gotten at least the member pricing). So I asked them and the manager says "oh the 25% discount I promised was on normal pricing not member pricing". Which is just absurd because member pricing was lower than normal prices with the 25% discount. So this was the first red flag.
But because this place has a minimum 3 month commitment, after seeing this red flag, I couldn't cancel. So after about 6 weeks of starting my membership, I gave them a 30 day notice that I wanted to cancel my membership and the lady, who is very nice and understanding, said she would waive my third month and cancel the membership. So, next time I went there for an injection, I went to the front desk to make sure my membership was canceled. But apparently it wasn't, even though I was told it was canceled. I asked the front desk lady to cancel my membership and she said she'd take care of it. Long story short, the same thing happened TWO more times. I was told my account had been canceled FOUR TIMES until it was actually cancelled. I was told TWICE that the third month would be waived because I was cancelling early, and as you can probably guess, NO it wasn't waived. When I called and talked to the manager about that third month, he reminded me of my signature on their 3 month commitment agreement and basically threatened to charge me a fourth month because I gave them the cancellation notice too late...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal member at Restore for several years, visiting weekly as part of my healing journey. I’ve always considered it my happy place, but my experience on August 15 left me disappointed and upset due to the poor customer service I received from Jennifer, the esthetician.
When I arrived, it was clear Jennifer was upset. I overheard her conversation with another customer where she expressed frustration about being the only staff member there. Her tone was unpleasant and it immediately set a negative tone for my visit.
When Jennifer came in to turn on the red light equipment for me, I asked her to adjust the time. She declined at first, and when I insisted, she begrudgingly adjusted it, saying "Whatever, I don't care" as she walked away. This kind of dismissive behavior is not what I expect from a place I’ve always held in such high regard.
After my session, Jennifer handed me her manager's card without me asking for it and told me to call her. I tried to be understanding and even told her that I knew customer service could be tough and maybe she was just having a bad day. A simple acknowledgment and apology from her would have sufficed, but instead, she responded with "Well, this is not even my job," and continued to express her frustration.
I drove to Restore and paid for a service to help alleviate my pain, but instead, I was met with rudeness and left with a headache from the interaction. This is not the kind of experience I expect or deserve as a loyal customer, and it certainly doesn’t reflect the welcoming environment Restore usually offers. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should leave feeling worse than when...
Read moreI drove 3 hours to get here the staff did not know that so I can give them slack there. I did have 12:35pm appointment . Parking lot was super full and I got in at 12:44 . Front desk was helping someone for about 10 minutes before getting to me . Then made me wait until 1:15pm to check if I can continue my appointment time. Idk why it took them half an hour to ask a yes or no question, they told me to come back. Another day. And tried to tour me to stall for the fact they made me wait 30 minutes as an attempt for customer service. She was so uncomfortable to tell me no, I don’t understand why. They didn’t have to waste my time here. Maybe it’s just this branch . Maybe it’s just who was working . Maybe it’s because I was on a promotional price and I’m not considered important as someone who would be paying full price . I’ve been told by a few people that they have good reviews . And been told that they often times don’t do well with scheduling but I went and didn’t think much of it ,But this is my first experience. I did not...
