Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream Mall: A Fun-Filled Adventure for Kids and Adults Alike
Ambiance & Atmosphere: Nickelodeon Universe is a vibrant and lively indoor theme park that immediately immerses you in the world of your favorite Nickelodeon characters.
It is vibrant, colourful and very modern. Lots of nickelodeon characters throughout the park. The park is well-maintained, clean, and has a modern feel to it, adding to the overall experience.
Rides & Attractions: The variety of rides is catering to all age groups. There are gentle rides suitable for toddlers and young children, as well as thrilling roller coasters and attractions for teenagers and adults. The roller coasters, such as the Shellraiser, provide an adrenaline rush and are well worth the wait in line. For younger kids, the Blue’s Skidoo and Pup Pup and Away rides are perfect, offering just the right amount of excitement without being too intense. One of the highlights is the Slime Streak, a family-friendly roller coaster that offers great views of the park.
For kids between 36-42 inches there’s very few options. For kids above 42 inches there are plenty of rides which they can go on with a companion. If the kid is above 48 inches then they are good to go on all rides.
Crowds & Wait Times:As expected with any theme park, especially one indoors, there can be significant wait times for the more popular rides, particularly on weekends and holidays.
We went on a weekday and wait times are very minimal. So, I suggest not to get the extra pass to curb the wait times beforehand. Check firsthand before buying it.
Staff & Service:The staff at Nickelodeon Universe are friendly, helpful, and great with kids. From the ride operators to the characters walking around, everyone seemed enthusiastic and committed to ensuring visitors had a good time.
Food & Dining:The food options are decent but somewhat limited, especially if you’re looking for something beyond typical theme park fare like pizza, burgers, and fries. There are a few themed snacks and treats that kids will love, but if you’re looking for a more substantial meal or healthier options, you might consider exploring the rest of the American Dream Mall, where there are numerous dining options available. Prices are what you’d expect for a theme park—not cheap.
Pricing & Value:Admission to Nickelodeon Universe is on the higher side, especially if you’re visiting with a family, but given the variety of rides and the quality of the experience, it’s a worthwhile investment for a day of fun.
Keep in mind: There are different types of passes. Check them out before you buy. Non riding adults can get in without buying a ticket. There are a lot of games and other activities in there which need extra payment. Every activity inside has the payment with card option. Cash is not required. There is a small play area inside aswell
Overall Experience:Nickelodeon Universe at the American Dream Mall is a good destination for families, Nickelodeon fans, and thrill-seekers. The park manages to balance the nostalgia of classic Nickelodeon shows with the excitement of modern rides and attractions. Just be prepared for the crowds and plan accordingly to make the most of your visit. All in all, it’s a place where fun memories are made, and it’s well...
Read moreI personally was expecting so much more. They have a ticket booth with attendees but thats just before the entrance. Upon arriving and area my kids were extremely excited to go. That excitement hit that fan real quick. First and foremost this isn't for all kids. Not every ride, even the ones that claim to be toddler if your child isn't a certain height requirement you will not be able to go on it with your child. Staff members are embedded in Electronic devices. They check all of the information through a device. THEY ENCOURAGE YOU to have your phone in your hand. To buy tickets (points) Scan QR codes in front of the rides and encourage parents to use the phone. Coming from another country this was extremely overwhelming and frustrating. Not to mention is this what we are teaching our future generations? To see Mom and dad (guardian) on the phone and not live and enjoy the moment? Call me old school but this experience was by far what I was expecting' If you don't want to use the QR codes this means you will have to go back UPSTAIRS to speak with a staff member or else they direct you to a kiosk beside the arcade. AGAIN all electronic? NO HUMAN interaction? Nobody check and asking guest anything or even checking up on them. Coming from Canada and having to use my phone and my personal data was extremely frustrating. No to mention I then buy the points to only see, my youngest son cant get in the train ride. He cant get in most rides,My other 2 kids can. Having to defeat the entire purpose of having a family day. Big rollercoaster You need to be a certain height requirement. My 10 Year old couldn't get on. Your charging same amount of points but yet some of the attractions are under construction. No refund or even a slight change in points as the entire ATTRACTION isnt available. The playground area was extremely crowded considering the area, would have and should have been bigger or have been limited to the amount of people. You have game stands and no staff members in site engaging with customers calling them out everything is digital. Defeats the purpose of being in an amusement park. We had cash on hand but everything was digital downloading, payments online and no staff member. Needs a thorough cleaning. considered the price you charge. I expect the entire amusement park SPICK AND SPAN CLEAN, KRISPY CLEAN No visible dust should be seen. Considering the prices you're charging and not see any STAFF member on site. Once the jellyfish started to spin you can hear multiple people coughing and getting congested, sure enough I looked up and seen the amount of DUST collected on top of the jellyfish was ASTONISHING. My mouth DROPPED! I wanted to leave immediately but my husband insisted we stayed and didn't make a big deal in front of the kids. No dress code regulations? I came to an amusement park, not a strippers club seeing women in underwear's cheeks out walking around a family's establishment and NO staff member to CORRECT this made the experience even more uncomfortable. theres a time and place for that and dressing like that This isn't the place for that. again having multiple staff members on floor not just at the entrances of attractions would of...
Read moreI went this Friday for my daughter’s birthday & didn’t have a great experience due to their staff giving misleading information. This park is lots of fun, but they lack customer service. I went in the morning and due to the water park opening at 12 PM, I purchased tickets for the Nickelodeon park. We were one hour early & didn’t want to wait around. Before I purchased 5 wristbands, I specifically told and asked the front staff the following, “We plan on going to the water park, I’m afraid my twin toddlers will lose them & we would like to come back after the water park, are they replaceable, if they get lost or break… & are they waterproof? They lady quickly said yes, but since you ordered through a third party vender… I would just need to replace all of them. I told her if my receipt would be sufficient to replace them? She said yes & wristbands are waterproof. I thought that was awesome and left with that in mind. I didn’t worry about my girls messing up the wristbands. It just made sense since they have QR codes. In my mind, she would just cancel those wristbands where no one else can use them and then replace them all. Once, we finished the waterpark… I went to try and replace the wristbands. A different lady at the front said no I need the old wristbands back. No one told me this. I ran to the trash can & grabbed the two I had just threw away. Luckily my nephew & oldest daughter still had their wristbands on, but the QR code no longer worked due to the waterpark for one of them. That’s four. We were just missing one (I later found this last one in my bag, but didn’t have the energy to deal with their staff again). The manager only replaced three not four due to one missing part of the QR code and some of the numbers he needed to replace it. I gave him my receipt and explained that I had spoken with another worker earlier. He did not care. Offered no help, nothing. His name is DJ. With all that hassle, there was less than 90 mins left before the park close. How hard would it have been to just replace a wrist band that got damaged due to the waterpark. I already purchased it, which means made the sale. People travel from all over to enjoy and have a good experience. Why not replace it? It costs them nothing but a bad experience. They are obviously not “waterproof”. Maybe it is actually a policy to not replace water damaged wristbands, but he did not say that, he was just not helpful. He lacked customer service. Luckily I was able to find the missing wristband while at the park, so we were able to use it for the last couple of minutes. Just one person was left unable to ride due to this park being unwilling to help replace it. Just be aware… the wristbands are water resistant, but not water proof. Buy your tickets online and avoid the hassle with their staff. I’ve been to many other places with amazing customer service. This one was...
