The Rink @ The Arena — Attraction in East Rutherford

I hosted a party for my 8 yo daughter and the party turned out to be a huge disappointment. The party host was late and showed up at 11:40 to the designated area. She was not at all engaging with the kids. I ordered cheese pizza and 3 Pepperoni pies were delivered. The kids were already hungry and I was forced to take off the pepperoni off the pies to make it edible. One kid would not eat the pizza which had pepperoni at which point I asked the host to get the cheese pizza. The host disappeared for the majority of the party in search of cheese pizza and I was left to serve the kids and clean up the plates. Then the pizza delivery showed up with 3 more pies of cheese pizza at which point most of the kids already made do with what was given to them. I organized the kids, sang happy birthday and gave out the cupcakes at which point the host returned with additional water drinks for the kids and cups. I ordered water for the kids, instead got only 6 bottles of water, sprite, coca cola, fanta and lemonade. Considering most of the guests would be drinking water and no cups were provided I had to manage with what I had until she returned.

I have two kids and have hosted multiple parties over the years, this was a complete disaster. I paid top dollar to "sit back and relax while the host attends to all of the party needs” as the advertisement says but this could not be further away...

Intresting trip to the Rink at American Dreams. Very important to know to utilize parking lot B ground level when going to this rink. Once you park you can go in the rink two different ways. Through the ground floor there is a small corridor that leads to the double door which is the locker room level. If you park on level one of lot B you will need to utilizethe step to the locker rooms. Parking was validated as they have a scanner on the table prior to leaving. The white board has the locker room assignments. They have several locker rooms all of different sizes. Clean and full shower bathroom. Player benchs are a good size. The penalty box's and score table are on the same side. Ice surface was pretty good. Zamboni was parked right next to the rink. Remember this rink is in a mall. 3 levels to view from. Seating on the ends. Great score board with team names, shots and scores. Depending on the time of day, the glass roof gives plenty of sunlight. They have led lights for night time placing. Great place to play a game and shop. If your looking for other thing to do they also have snow tubing, skiing, or snowboard. Hotels...

Terrible experience. Drove specifically to this rink knowing they have the seals to help the kids out. Got there at 8:15 and were told they don't sell any tickets past 8. Confused and annoyed as it didn't mention this anywhere online, until someone came over and whispered you can order online and still get tickets. Got our tickets and asked for some seals for the kids, once again we were told we missed the time and we were too late for them they weren't giving them out anymore. Upset but accepted it and went on the rink. A bit later saw some adults getting seals and when I asked again if I can also get was told it's only for VIPS. Mind you the group of "VIPS" when they heard that got excited cause they hadn't even realized they were vips and were just friends with the employees. Maybe it was cause we were visibly Jewish or we just arent friends with the right employees, but to drive all the way, pay what we paid and be treated like this, I'll take my family to a different...
