I want to begin by mentioning how rude and unprofessional Yessica/Jessica(same lady goes by both names). There’s never a smile on this ladies face and I’ve been here two years. To add to the misery, Yessica /Jessica has proven to be an absolute nightmare to deal with. Her rudeness, nastiness, and lack of empathy are truly astonishing, making interactions with her nothing short of a dreaded ordeal. The management's negligence in maintaining the garbage chute is beyond appalling. It's unacceptable that there are only two carts(to bring groceries up and down) for four floors, causing constant inconveniences to the residents. There is a 3rd cart that I will take a pic of that is broken and they don’t care to remove it. I was bringing up stuff the other day a the whole thing fell apart. Another tenant put a note in there about how the lack of caring for the residents is awful. The lack of care in fixing these issues shows a complete disregard for the well-being and comfort of the tenants. And they just sent an email to sign the whole TWO carts in and out when using (the audacity )
I’ve had a run in with Emily in leasing office but that was my fault and she handled the situation so professionally
I also called the VP of management Tracy who is good for nothing. He keeps saying to call Yessica/Jessica and she says to call him with problems. Neither knows how to handle anything it’s an absolute joke in here.
The building is pretty nice. It’s just unfortunate that this leasing lady and VP are the go to’s.
In the beginning for a 2nd spot was an extra 100. Then they told me 150 and I was just told again yesterday by another tenant they charged them 100? Seems weird and like they pick and choose what they want to charge.
The pool use to open at 10. Now opens at 11:30. And the majority in the building have complained. Again we are paying for all these amenities and they don’t care for our say in anything.
I have emails I’ve sent and they don’t respond back until I email them again telling them that they should respond lol. Dreadful.
Overall, this apartment building fails in providing basic amenities and essential services, making it a place that leaves tenants feeling frustrated and disheartened. It's a regrettable experience for anyone seeking a comfortable and hassle-free living environment. I would highly NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Ps. Notice how the monarch is only responding to the people who give a lot of stars and a good review. They don’t care about you. I have never written a review about anything bc I never have problems. But this place is the worst.
Concierge is so nice and professional . They really work hard and always have smiles...
Read morehey, this is a great place for any part of your journey. i lived here for maybe 4yrs and i felt secure during those 4 yrs. stability is built into the place: the internet is stable and ive seen the concierge turn into detectives and help locate missing packages when modern tracking falls short.
daily life, the property is position "out of the way" but not out of the world. you feel the option to jump in your transportation and enjoy the world. the option to stay in and enjoy the monarch amenities was equally strong.
fitness, i lost many %s of body fat living here. the gym is sturdy and available. theres a sound system that punches, getting community agreement on the station is "doable". theres a yoga room with great mirrors, i tried to dance there once and i saw myself in the mirror and saved myself the embarrassment. theres a pool i like, adult swim hours, would make it very well done but the current offering works.
units, things worked. if something didnt work it would shock us. the microwave could handle everything uber eats could throw at it. the shower could handle any mistake of yesterday. all the cleaning solutions needed for the finishes are easy to find.
transportation, youre going to want a license. you dont need one because they have a very reliable shuttle system. the drivers of the shuttles are pros and youre in good hands. in the worst snow storms their faces are poker pro. its a nice last comfort moment before public transportation and you ride with neighbors only. the rideshare can be a challenge if the driver isnt paying attention, they can easily miss the exit.
private transportation, this is a community that relies heavily on private transportation and the design structure supports really smooth traffic. parking spots are managed and security is focused. i would be shocked if my managed transportation was ever damage in their structure. but it was never a concern because all entrances and exits of the community are performed on behalf of someone with access.
pets, really appreciate the loop. they grow well here, they learn to play with neighbors dogs. theres a lot of different plants along the path for them to stick their nose in. theres a closed off portion of the community where they can learn how to play in a contained place, its about the size of a studio apartment so idk big dogs could feel less exercised but the loop exists. theres a lot of post puppy training that can happen here, my pup learned how to walk off lease here. during the winter, my pup couldn't handle the weather, i used the stairs to keep pup exercised.
5 out of 5 because I'm sure my 5th year would have...
Read moreI’ve lived here for about 6 months & my experience has been great so far!
•The amenities are awesome & always well-maintained. I love the room across the gym for stretching / other workouts. The gym itself is equipped with a lot (weights / some machines / cables) which is SO convenient. Also LOVE all the mirrors to watch your form. Having 2 courtyards is pretty cool & I love the views for both + the pool. It’s very peaceful. The club room is modern & great to hangout in. Another perk is there’s a kids room which not many apartments offer.
•The apartment is spacious too. I appreciate high ceilings & having 2 entry-ways for the bathroom. Also love the walk-in closet space! Unfortunately, my unit had some scratches on the hardwood floor & some chipped lock buttons for the windows prior to me moving in, but it’s tolerable.
•The concierge team is great! They make living here really safe & smooth. They’re also organized. Specifically, Gustavo, Ronnie & Nick are so easygoing, helpful & friendly. I genuinely appreciate that team & all they do. 🙌🏼
•Maintenance is also very quick to respond and handle issues. I have experienced 2 superintendents (John & Kamille). Both have been quick with replies & sending assistance if I need it. I always see someone from maintenance doing some form of upkeep & I appreciate seeing that because I know our complex is being maintained.
•I also enjoy the apps they recommend to download during move in. You definitely feel like you’re apart of your own little community with event updates, photos posted, etc.
•The food trucks every (or every other) Thursday are #yum! Love food trucks & although I’m not always around to take advantage of it, I appreciate this.
I’ve seen comments on the elevators not working & although I’ve experienced that a handful of times, it’s not often. I also assume they’re not working because someone is moving in at that time & has reserved the elevators, but who knows.
I don’t have many cons except minor issues like some floor scratches & a few chipped lock buttons for the windows… both of which were there prior to me living in the unit. Also experienced dealing with someone who was very rude during the application process, but I don’t believe that individual works with the complex anymore.
Overall, living here is a good experience & I would recommend it!
OH and I personally enjoy the view of American Dream & MetLife.. especially when there are games or concerts! The fireworks are also super pretty whenever they have them & the highway isn’t as noisy as you...
