This place is super cool and the each hole gets a bit more difficult as you progress the levels BUT! They messed up on the day we went, hopefully this has been fixed since.
My group was a group of 3 people, the group behind me was a group for 4 people BUT! the group before me was a group of 7 people.
It took the group of 7 people 10-15 minutes to get through every each hole, took my group and the group behind me 5 min to get through each hole.
The group of 7 laughed a lot and were silly as they should be, they paid money to have fun, awesome for them but that made the 10 minutes even longer.
For my group to have fun and get through the holes a bit quicker being we were 3 people, we had to skip 1 hole, basically skip the group of 7, the group of 4 behind me skipped 2 holes, skipping the group of 7 and my group, and the small group behind them, skipped 3 holes, skipping the group of 7, my group, and the group that was behind me, the group of 7 was still getting through 1 hole.
One couple got so annoyed they just left.
So we paid the same price per person as the group of 7 people, but had to skip a hole, others pay the same price as well and skipped 3 hole of more.
They need to find a way around that, figure out something in the prices.
Its not fair to small groups to finish their holes in 5 min or less and have to wait an extra 10 to 15 more min for the big groups ahead to complete their holes, there are no seats, you must carry your bags, purses, coast with you which makes it MUCH MORE UNCOMFORTABLE!
Great Idea, awesome place,...

There is no COVID-19 procedures in place other than 2 hand sanitizers in the entrance and social distancing while waiting in line to check-in (which by the way - if you bought tickets online, it's all the same line).
Once you get inside all that goes out ths window. Noone is inside monitoring social distancing so all groups playing tend to have to wait for others or are forced by the group behind to rush the next person ahead, it ruins the experience.
There are NO hand sanitizers inside so if you're picking up the ball with your hands and no gloves, you're basically touching everyones shoes since everyone walks on the mini golf courts.
No manager inside while playing so there is no sense of quality control, we had someone elses child start playing on our court while we were trying to play a game. I had to stop my game, hold up the 2 groups behind me, hold up my friend's turn so I can tell the mother of the child to please pay attention to her kid. If a staff member was inside this could have been avoided.
Overall, I understand that the owner has to keep the business open in these times to get some money out of it. But don't do it at the risk of other people catching COVID-19, please hire more staff to cover inside and put better policies in place. The one star is for the staff member working that day, for they were trying their hardest with the resources...
Read moreDrove from CT to the American Dream Mall in New Jersey (lovely place). While there my family, all adults now, decided to play mini-golf at Black Light MiniGolf within the mall. It was Saturday, it was cold, and this was indoors. We expected a wait, we expected a line, we were there to enjoy ourselves with several other families. 2 holes in, a manager, with brightly colored red hair, and poor customer service skills...began to rant through the mini-golf location. Explaining that each paying customer would not be allowed to play with their group, that after each player finished a hole they would have to move to the next hole while the remaining player in your group finished. This was because she said if passing mall patrons passed the saw a line they would not stop. I was curious why they were rushing the guy who dropped 100 bucks for 4 people to play golf knowing there was a line. It also seemed stupid because a player can't move on to the next hole until the person in front of them finished...so effectively yelled at paying customers for no reason. Go the Angry Birds mini-golf it's in the same mall and I didn't see anyone yelling...
