First time. This place was lacking a lot of instructions especially ones for the game rules. The most annoying rule they did not point out is the very strict time limit on each room before it gives you the big finger in the form of a womp-womp. The games definitely seemed like it would be fun if everyone in my group was a more coordinated, but I want to state again that it was very tiring for us to try to figure out what the staff said and what this button does or why the room went dark. I think they are both understaffed and lacking coordination, like for each missing instruction sign they have staff to give hints. Bam Kazam is catered more towards high schoolers and above who want to try something new and less for children, simply because you really need to be communicating well without shouting over each other in these games. And then there was that one physical game with the cheese, where the old people in my group literally could not get into position before we started because the room is pitch black before closing the door. And when it starts, it fails you immediately because they are touching the ground. Where is the lighting for starting positions? Instructions? Timer? Capacity limit? Individual scores for some of the games where it seems like there would be one? Well, other than these blaring faults, at least the staff seems to be helpful when they are by...
Read moreI went with 5 other people. This wasn't really fun as each room is setup for a mini game with no clear instructions. There are no levels either. Once you complete it perfectly the room is over and its the same thing over and over. Each room was really nicely designed but the games were very lack luster. For example the ball pit room was only 1 level that finished it resulting in a 1 min experience. One of the rooms was a spaceship design which was really nice but the game was just a bunch of yelling commands and clicking on a screen with toggle switches that did nothing. There are no instructions per room resulting in a 1 time experience and no difficulty adjustments. The wheel of fortune game was nicely designed but it times you out after a couple of min if you don't solve it and kicks you out. The jeopardy room was nice but it results in just people spamming the button without hearing the overall question. I don't know if they played these games before releasing them. The staff was nice and always provided explanations to the room if we wanted. Overall i don't think this is worth the money, we spent $225 for 6...
Read moreWalking into Bam Kazam at the American Dream Mall, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As an adult, I wondered if the challenges behind each closed door would really be fun or engaging. It turned out to be far more than I imagined. Every room was thoughtfully designed, with the puzzles and games perfectly matched to the space.
My group of three adults found the experience to be fun, funny, and at times genuinely challenging. The staff were friendly, patient, and great at explaining how everything worked, which made the whole experience even better.
It’s not easy to describe Bam Kazam—it’s like stepping into a series of real-life arcade games, no VR required, where every door opens to a completely new challenge. Honestly, I can’t recommend it enough, and I’m already looking forward...
