Looking for a new nail salon?…DON’T CHOOSE THIS ONE!!!! I had been going to this salon for almost 4 years. Last week I did not feel well and called to reschedule my appointment with Ben. Someone texted to tell me the next time I came in, I would be charged a cancellation fee. I explained I did not feel well and went to Urgent Care (and even texted over a photo of my 3 prescriptions as proof). Their response was “this is the company policy. No exception”. I asked if they wanted me to come in sick and contaminate Ben and his nail station…they still did not care. I also asked if I get compensated for the 6 times Ben cancelled on me or left me sitting and waiting for him…was that fair? They said “Ben is very strict on his book”. So in other words…They don’t care…4 years or not!
My advice would be to find another salon. They are not cheap…So why pay their high prices when you don’t even get: a hot towel, hand message, no cuticles cut, applies no cuticle oil, no primer, only one coat of polish and rushes you through your appointment. If clients go there when they are sick, in order to avoid the cancellation charge, you may get sick from that!! They also charge a 3% credit card fee. There are wayyyyyy to many local salons that will appreciate your business…THIS IS NOT THE...
Read moreBeautiful salon, clean, sparkling and tastefully decorated. I have been coming to Affinity nails for over 8 years- a family generated business that has now started over with a new family member. Kevin is the current owner. Along with his wife, he masterfully remodeled and transformed the salon to an updated, beach-inspired theme- white 3-d paneled walls, shiny sand-colored marble tile, and ocean blue-green ceiling pendants. Each station has an operator so even if it's crowded, the wait is very short. All utensils are new & packaged for each customer. Excellent sanitation is one of the qualities you will immediately notice about the salon. I drive up from Ortley Beach just to have my nails done here. Color selection is amazing- the samples and color chips will surely guarantee a satisfying pick.. I highly recommend Affinity Nails in Wall, NJ--hopefully, they will open up another salon down in Toms River so I won't have to drive so...

I haven't gone to a salon in many years because i bite my nails a lot, and I've been trying to stop. Asked for a gel full set because it would be something sturdy covering the whole nail. Instead, the man did an acrylic tip set with gel polish over it. I should've realized it the moment the little dusty silver pot came out with a terrible smell, but it had been a long time.since i was at a salon.
Nails were longer than i asked, and the man kept pressing down the sides of my nails with his own fingers vs using a tool. Nails looked so flat with a large ridge on the outer walls.
Still got charged for a gel full set! I removed them myself the next day and called my bank for a refund.
My experience was rushed, painful, and misleading. Not going back to this...
