I wanted to reach out to leave a message about a manager i encountered at turnstyle consignment eden prairie home side. I had been going through some things of my own, and had communicated that to my manger tami. I showed up to work on the 22nd 20 minutes late. She made a comment to me , to which i didnt take lightly. I asked if she wanted me to go home she said "with that attitude yes". I turned around and proceeded to leave. I was half way out the door when she continued the argument. It escalated , which resulted in her asking for my keys. I left leaving it at that. And went about my weekend unsure if i had a job or not. upon my discovery today i had learned that she had terminated me right after that argument . I felt it was super unfair considering i had told tami to wait and have a conversation with not only Kim but myself as well. She took it upon herself to terminate me day of and not notify myself or kim. I'm not interested in the job i am more so concerned on the lack of managerial ability she fails to posses. I was not allowed any type of warning that i signed or anything of what the reason was that i was fired over. I know she found a loop hole to fire me so she could feel superior. I dont think thats fair or even something turnstyle would want to stand for. Please look into the eden prairie location and especially into the store manager. Look into her time stamps and who is clocking her out(she continually asks different coworkers to clock her out at later times than she leaves) , look into the stores workers and ask how they feel she is lacking in her position. Just look at how many consigners are unhappy and unsatisfied about their experience with lost items, i would also look into how the team feels about her leaving the store every shift to shop with an extreme amt of petty cash. Paper work is always being sent back to her because she does not know what she is doing, she actively gets mad and talks behind coworkers backs. just recently she was upset about a $10 pizza for a few hungry and overworked staff on a sale day when the next day she spent $96 dollars and about 3 hours out of the store mid day keeping in mind we are allotted $10 PER staff member on a sale weekend). Look back on the last 3 months of schedules and review how she is barely working sale weekends WHICH ARE MANDATORY FOR FULL TIME STAFF MEMBERS AND MANAGEMENT. Shes barely helping the staff and she loves to take the credit when all the hard work came from...
Read moreI stopped into the store today after work and went in to see if I could consign 2 pictures. I had come earlier this week but the store had closed down during the day because of the storm. On Thursday they take appointments. I asked if they had time to look at my 2 items. The cashier very rudely said you need an appointment. I asked when their next appointment was. She mumbled and pulled out a book and said you can bring them in now. They were not busy at all and she acted like she was doing me a favor. When I got home my husband was there and we had one large item I needed help getting to the store. He said he would help me so I called the store and asked for an appointment. I was told I could not get an appointment because I already brought 2 things in that day. I am a regular customer but have stopped going to this store because the employees are RUDE! Read moreThis is my number one favorite retail store in the world. They are picky on what they take, so they always have nice stuff. Prices are very reasonable. This is a large store. Stuff turns over pretty quickly, so don't wait to buy something you like or it will disappear.
