I’d love to be able to give this place five stars. However polite helpful staff experience is going to be a hit or miss. Half of the time when my daughter and I come in we get dirty looks from people who work there and they usually behave in very unprofessional manners talking to each other and gossiping and staring at you and are scarce if you need any help. And then sometimes if you go in when it’s a little bit slow you will get a smile and someone offering to help you but also making the effort to do so rather than just talking about it. Sadly their system for ringing you up is really really disorganized and very unprofessional and frustrating. They’ve got registers in the weirdest places and you never know which one you’re supposed to stand in line at. And then usually when you’re getting rung up they are the least friendly and engaging People just acting like they’re drones or some thing with no personality at all. They’re usually understaffed on days when the store is full and overstaffed when it’s slow. The manager there can be very pleasant if it is slow but when it’s busy- boy, you don’t want to come across her she’s not going to be very nice to you or Make you feel welcome to shop there at all! She can be quite searing just in the way she looks at you. So when that happens I really regret spending a penny at the store. But then other times there will be pleasant interactions with some of the people who work there who are always polite. Read moreI’ve been going to this location for years because of its proximity and it saves me a trip to the mall. My most recent visit was so outrageous I had to write this review. The front cashier had an extremely long line the day I went with only one sales associate up at front. When it was my turn she attended me and then I had to quickly grab another item in order for my coupon to be valid. I was gone for less then a minute and when I came back she was helping some one else out. I understood so I waited patiently but then she started to assist someone else with a new transition after I had already return. I had to address myself before she went to another person again. I was already frustrated but I had left with my purchases. My frustration grew when I get home to find the sweater I bought STILL HAD THE SECURITY ALARM on it!!! The store didn’t even beep when I left that day and I would’ve asked them to check before I left the store. Why do they even have security systems if they are clearly not working for them. To my dismay I had to drive myself back to edgewater which I clearly didn’t want to do. Moral of the story is: these sales associates have to be better at attending to even the smallest details. Read moreI just walked in to this location today and was rudely recieved at the cash register. First there was a very nice girl who was taking care of me, But as soon as what seemed to be the manager came to help, she started giving me a lot of attitude and seemed like she wasn't interested in helping me at all with my return. It seem's crazy to me that as someone who purchases a lot in this store, she would treat me this way. Also reading all the reviews here I can see Im not the only one who she has treated this way. This seems to be an ongoing issue which I believe should be resolved as soon as possible. Worker's like her make shopping at this store very unpleasent. Not to mention the fact that she was literatly complaining to the poor young girl who was originally taking my returns. Telling her that she was taking too long with me.
