7/12/2021 update - No one contact me and I do not know if the owner/ manager thinks it is not right to charge me that $5 then why I am still being charged on my card? And where is my apology for this "unusual accident"? I believe a canned response is inefficient for my situation. Thank you.

My experience at the Edgewater location this afternoon (7/7/2021) was horrible! If I could give it a zero star I would. Today when I was ordering my meals, I particularly pointed at the menu, said I want two Polar meals (in the picture it includes a drink (milk), a grill cheese and French fries). Then the meals arrived without the drinks. So I asked my server, should my meals included two drinks and she said yes and bought me back two cartons of milk as requested.
Then I asked for the bill and I saw an additional charge of $5 and I didn’t know what that was for. Then the manager (I didn’t ask for her name) jumped in telling me that that $5 was for the milks because I didn’t ask for any drinks at the time when I ordered the meals and then I requested it after the meals had arrived so the milks had to charged additionally. To me, first, it was the server who forgot to bring me the drinks which it should have included in my meals, I was just asking it back when I realized after my meals came. Second, on the bill I was charged a full price for two Polar meals which is $9 each and that price should have including drinks. I do not understand how and why I have to be charged for the milks.
That was not it, the manager was not friendly at all when she tried to explain to me and she scared me and my kids with that aggressive attitude and an impolite tone of voice. Moreover, she never take that $5 off my bill because she thought she was right!
Very disappointed. I really do not think any customers should be treated this way especially we didn’t do anything wrong. Will not return and people should avoid going to this location if they do not wanted a rip off and wanted to be...

Even before going into the restaurant, i already knew what to order as their menu was available online. When I ordered a burger as a combo (as it says online with about extra $8 dollars) the server looked confused and said “ah… okay” with no explanation or guidance. I kinda assumed that there might be no option for “combo meal” by the server’s confused look. My husband ordered a different burger and a side of onion rings. When the food came, the portion of fries was so small that now I got confused that it could be a combo deal because the table next to us had a side of fries and it looked doubled portion of ours just like the photos in reviews. The portion of onion rings was way small (like 5 pieces with thick batter) as if it was combo deal. When I called the male server who took our order, i explained that how come my “combo meal” looks the same portion as his separate order of sides. Then the server said it just came on the side in a same plate, and he can get us separate empty plate if we want them separately, saying like it’s “kinda combo, but we dont have a deal like that,” then I figured it’s just separate orders of sides in such small portions, but didnt want to argue any longer as it was not worth our time and energy since the server did not know his job well. He could’ve explained that in the first place that they dont do combo now i look like i’m karen complaining for everything. From the time we ordered, everything was getting worse and worse. I would not want to pay $7 $8 for sides of a few pieces of french fries and onion rings. He said medium is the lowest we could go, and it was definitely was not medium but more of medium welldone. We told the waiter that we would make the payment with two separate cards. The total bill we had to pay was $51. Unfortunately, instead of splitting the bill into two payments, they charged $41 from my friend's credit card. $51 charged from my credit card. We wanted a manager. Unfortunately, there was no manager. A lady there tried to help. Her speaking style was good at first but then he turned ugly. Our English is not very good and we tried to convey our problem by showing and explaining our bank accounts. She looked at our accounts. She refunded my card. But she said that he could not see the check on my friend's card and could not return it, and then asked us to pay the amount. My friend's $41 was not refunded. total bill was $51. We said and offered that the account would be closed if we paid 10 more dollars. The girl said okay, don't pay anything and acted like she was kicking us out. It was a terrible night. I was going to call the police, this is theft. But I didn't call out of respect for the workers. Moreover, she said that you do not need to pay, as if the she there was right. We already paid twice, which is the waiter's fault anyway. Instead of understanding, she prolongs the work. I will never come again. I definitely do not recommend it. Be careful when paying.
