My Dyson vacuum stopped working so I took it into the Dyson Service Center for a diagnostic. Three people were ahead of me, and I have to tell you I didn't mind waiting at all. Listening to this gentleman provide customer service to each customer ahead of me was refreshing. He was knowledgeable, quick and very patient. I knew that when it was my turn in line, I was going to get some great customer service and WOW did I!! He asked me the right questions and I gave him my answers. There was no power to my Dyson vacuum...he said he would be back in 3 minutes and had me complete an information card. In less that 3 minutes he was back with a new motor unit installed and even replaced my cannister and all at no charge!! I was expecting a $200 bill and was even contemplating buying a new vacuum if I had to, but I was shocked when it was all covered and costed me absolutely zero cents. It literally took 5 minutes from when it was my turn to having a practically new Dyson in the back of my car. This place is honest and has exceptional customer service. Read moreI left the house this morning with my wife and 1 year old, upset because my Dyson Vacuum had stopped working. For me it was an hour and a half drive to get to the store, and didn’t quite know what to expect. When I got there, the representative immediately took all my worries away. Said he would have my vacuum fixed I. 10-15 minutes. He was done in under 10 and proceeded to tell me it was at no charge which I couldnt believe. I knew Dyson stood behind their product, but I was shocked to see how easy and hassle free it was. Here is where it gets good, I get out to my car, kid screaming and my wife tells me the car won’t start. We have a dead battery. There were 2 other customers in the store at the time so I thought I’d give it a shot to see if someone could spare 5 minutes and give me a jump. All declined, the store manager looked over, immediately set the vacuum down that he was working on and said, “let’s do it!”

I had an old small ball vacuum cleaner that gave out a couple weekends ago. I called this week to get a rough idea over the phone of how much it would cost to repair and how long it might take. Chris gave me a rough estimate over the phone and I decided to take it in on the weekend.
The estimate to repair was less upon looking at the machine. I did end up purchasing a new one instead of repairing the old one, simply due to the remaining life of my existing machine. Chris walked me through two different machines I was looking at, and threw in an accessory for free. They offer a trade-in discount, unless Dyson is running a sale that is better than their discount. You get the better of the two discounts.
They recycle all old machines that people don't want to repair. (I did not confirm if they take competitors' machines for recycling.)
