EARC Thrift Shop — Attraction in Edmond

Best thrift store in Edmond! They updated and cleaned the 15th street store but still great prices and vintage things. Both stores (3rd and 15th) fund employment and housing for adults with unique needs. EARC stands for Employment and Residential Centers--though another review was incorrect and used information from an outdated OK government website. Also, there are no racist managers there, or ones that don't believe in a good bargain--I just bought 10 things that were less than $1.00---they discard items that are broken that could injure workers or shoppers and they price fairly but also they price to provide for the awesome citizens/clients of EARC. There are volunteers and employees that do not have disabilities that work with those that do and the feeling is like family, and there are no managers mistreating or firing disabled people---other reviewers should be...

My review is for your store on 15th. This is the most overpriced thrift store I have been to and it has the look of a junk store when entering. I complained to the woman who does your pricing and told her you could make much more money by lowering prices and selling more inventory. Example: your jewelry starts at $5 compared to Second Chances and Hopefully Yours starting at $3. I found items in your store that were twice the price of Goodwill and people complain about their prices being high. Your board members might want to go in your store and then visit Hopefully Yours and Second Chances. They also have advertised sales frequently. I spent $70 at one store and $45 at the other on items similar to what you have but priced much lower. You do good work and if you hired someone who knows how to price and move the inventory you could at least...

Every time I tried to ask a question to the other employees (all gentlemen) the rudest lady would jump in my face with the worst attitude and tone that was clearly sarcasm for trying to wait for the clearly capable of answering gentleman I clearly asked to answer me but no one can get a word out but this lady in the whole store she was RUDE and rubbed me the wrong way as soon as came into the room with her, would honestly turn around and wait to shop there again if I see this lady next time. She acted as if I should have known the answer to the questions I’m asking like what time they closed etc… just SO RUDE ugh, not to mention ruins my day dealing with people when it’s supposed to be a joyful experience shopping.
