I visited Stagger Inn for lunch recently, and the dining experience was certainly a mixed bag. On one hand, the food was exceptional. I ordered the muffaletta and found it absolutely delicious. Every bite was a delight, and it was obvious that a lot of care had gone into preparing it. My partner had the black bean burger, which was a welcome sight for those following a vegan diet. We appreciated the diverse options on the menu, and the effort to cater to different dietary preferences is commendable.
However, the restaurant's ambience and cleanliness were a cause for concern. The decor is interesting, with various objects attached to the ceiling and taxidermied animals adding a unique touch. However, an overwhelming layer of dust covering everything is rather off-putting. From ceiling tiles to light fixtures and the taxidermied animals, the dust seems to have found a home everywhere. These objects, positioned directly over the dining and food service area, made us question the overall hygiene of the place.
While we enjoyed our meals, the cleanliness issue left us uneasy. Eating in an environment where dust particles can easily find their way into the food raises health concerns. It was disconcerting to see so much dust in a place where cleanliness should be paramount.
In summary, Stagger Inn offers a delightful culinary experience, but the cleanliness issue cannot be overlooked. A deep clean could go a long way in improving the dining atmosphere and making customers feel more comfortable. Despite the wonderful food, the dust issue gives pause for thought and it's something that should be...
Read moreIf I had stopped in for a beer, that would be great. As it was, I met friends for lunch. Yeah, don't do that. There were too many of us to sit at the table meant for 4 and there were 10. We eventually slid an unoccupied table over near ours and the bartender came over and stopped us. "We don't move the tables around in here." You're right. We shouldn't have to. One of them should have done it for us. There was one other group in the place, sitting far away and there were lots of vacant tables in the middle. They didn't have a way to separate our bills. They didn't even have a way to separate them all on one check. Then one guy tried to go to the bar and buy our drinks. He meant to pay the bill up and buy a round. No food was on the ticket yet. They told him they couldn't do that. The waitress was sick. We're all near 70 and a few of us have health issues already. That said, she was one of 3 people working there and it was good of her to come in anyway. Just say this:"The management...

This was our first time visiting Stagger Inn Again, and it certainly won’t be our last! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively.
We ordered the hot wings, Frisco burgers, and Cajun fries, and every bite was incredible. The flavors were spot on, and everything was cooked to perfection. It’s clear they take pride in their food.
What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the two-man band playing that night. The music added such a fun vibe to the evening, making it more than just a meal—it was an experience.
We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, fantastic music, and an...
